Came across this restomod zed for sale, seems to pretty pricey to me for a modified car!Vehicle Sales | Automotive Restorations, Inc.

Scroll down about 20 cars, not too fast though, there's some pretty nice machinery here!

Thats what I thought, the car is in a small article in a classic car magazine(forget which one right now), they loved it and didn't seem to think the price was out of line.

Considering how easy it is to spend $60+k on a full restoration, $27K sale is not out of the realm of possibility.

I don't know if you would call a 240z with an L28 and 5 speed restored.

The article stated the owner of the shop is the cars owner, I sent an email out of curiosity and it was a bare shell complete rebuild, not sure why the engine change. More photos would be nice, what did you think of the other cars on offer?

Looks like a nice restoration on the 240Z, however that's not the correct front bumper for a '73. I suspect this is really a '72 or they switched out the bumpers during the restoration. You'd need to see the VIN plate to know for sure and some more photos would be nice!

What's wrong with the front bumper? Looks just like the original bumper on my '73.

Besides the L28, 5-speed and the '70-'72 front bumper that were mentioned, it has the earlier carbs. Also in '73 (and '72), the 904 White cars only had red interiors. So this one either had the interior converted to black or the paint color was changed. The rear bumper center is a '73 (you can tell by the placement of the rear guards), but the rear bumper guards are '70 -'72. It's tough to tell by the picture, but the radio looks to be aftermarket.

Nice looking Z, but not at that price with all the non-original stuff mentioned.

Did you notice the over spray on the end of the dash? While the car looks pretty nice, I would not pay that much for it. I think I might sell my series 1 for that much and even give the buyer 5000 back to do the body work and paint, and its only got about 165000 miles on it.
