Sorry about the pic rotating 90 degrees CC

Hello,

I attached a picture of 4 sensors just below the thermostat housing of a 75 280z.

1) please correct me if I'm wrong but the one I labeled with the gold tape is the thermotime. The one I labeled with the green tape is the water temp sensor?

2) What sensor is the white tape on?

3) What sensor us the yellow tape on?

Thank you,

Robert

On mine there's 3 sensors and a plugged hole, one of the one's your asking would be to the temp. gauge, small wire with a female bullet type connector. here's some pictures that may help...https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=280z+thermostat+housing&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.45107431,d.eWU&biw=1280&bih=620&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=AY5mUYuvFor49QSkoYH4BQ#imgrc=_

The white tape is on the temperature sensor (guage).

Gold tape is on the thermotime.

Green tape is temp sensor for the EFI.

Yellow ? I have heard its used as a thermo switch for an electric fan, but I can say for sure.

The link in siteunseens post has a couple of good drawings showing the layout as well.

Chas

Yellow is the water temperature switch for activating the second magnetic pickup in the distributor, I believe.

Thank you very much guys! I've been drilling the FSM and just couldn't find references to the one I labeled with white and yellow. So I appreciate your help.
