How to remove the flywheel???

Recommended Posts

Just rotate the engine until #1 is coming up on compression stroke , both valves will be closed. Insert about 6'' or so of cotton rope in the spark plug hole, leave a tag end sticking out . Continue the rotation and the piston will stop on the compressed rope . Remove what bolts you need to . Remove the short rope and you are good to go. No harm no fowl.

280 master..... Sears often has their 250-350lb impact on sale for $30 and it's a craftsman!!! An impact is not a want it is a need with working on cars. If you want to go even cheaper, go to Harbor Freight
