I,ve been trying to get either my dual stack...or my money back since June 10th...no luck....I always had to contact him...none from him....Good-bye $425.00...Like I wrote earlier....BEWARE!!

We can post and re-post pretty pictures of work he has done in the past. The bottom line is that he has not refunded at least the previous poster's and my money. Sure, he PMed me and asked for an address. Did I receive a refund for my $425.00? NO.

I have a NOS Ansa twin stack - the real thing not a reproduction. $425.00 plus shipping. RealEnth - run on up here to Clearwater, bring cash and you can save the shipping - and inspect the item before you buy. Bring your Z and I might buy you lunch... Drop me an E-mail at beck@becksystems.com and put 240Z or something in the Subject..

FWIW,

Carl B.

A super nice and helpful guy on this forum with the handle LeonV has a great profile picture of what looks like a DIY twin stack.

From what I see is two small off-the-shelf glasspacks with chrome tapered tips and (out of the picture) either one exhaust pipe with a Y or two exhaust pipes running up to the header

I was planning to do a horrizontal twin tip on a restoration like this but time ran out.

Here is a component that will get you on the path to twins:

Thanks for the mention, Blue! :)

Mine are two stacked 12" glasspacks coming off of two separate pipes from the header. I planned out the exhaust system and had my exhaust guy weld it up and install it.

The Y-junction that Blue shows would work for finishing a single-pipe system with two tips. No need for fancy "twin-stacks"!

Take it from someone who spent an inordinate amount of time and money on this - to replicate these things is not as simple as it looks. The biggest problem to using most of the off-the-shelf splitters like Blue shows is the center-to-center spacing of the outlets. If the spacing is too large, the tips look odd (to me). To best replicate the Ansa-style dual tips, I found that a pair of 2 1/2" tips on 2 3/4" spacing was perfect. That was why I selected the particular Magnaflow muffler that I used on my car.
