Ok Don´t laugh. I have a business selling parts for MGs, Triumphs, Jags & Minis.

I got into Datsuns as I was tired of fixing the same things on my Bristish classic over & over again !

Sorry, that's just brilliant.

I work in a engineering team, as a projects supervisor at Network Ten - a commercial television network down under.

I am doing a lot of CAD dwg's of systems, furniture and floor plans for TV stations and manage projects, timelines and budgets.

Don't know why my 240z project doesn't seem to follow any timeline nor stick to a budget, and isn't finished yet.......

I keep telling myself it's all about the journey....

My job is pretty cool, as long as I can stay clear of any "talent" or producer, whose ego's are per default unbelieveable large.

Ivmy 240z,

It's blatantly obvious that you don't know what the inner suburbs of Sydney were like way back in the late 40's and 50's mate.

Rick.

Ive been a motor mechanic since 1978, working on V.W. Audi Fiat Lancia and Subaru for the first seven years, then I looked after cars trucks cranes and various bits of plant for a power supply company until six years ago, when I started teaching apprentice motor mechanics (car and truck) with TAFE (Technical and further Education) in NSW.

It was working on V-dubs that made me buy a Datto for my first car.

Can you elaborate on why working on V-Dubs made you get a Datto? I'm just trying to work out what exactly your getting at :)

I'm currently working as a brain surgeon to pay for bartending school.

In all seriousness, I'm a mechanical designer involved in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) as well as piping systems design and I love it. I got involved in electrical design by mistake (?) for a while. BORING!! Just not my cup of tea. So, no offense to any of you sparkies

I have been working in IT for 12 years including 2 years living in Melbourne Australia (2001-2003), it is good to be back home in New Zealand with my Z and motorbike again :D . Now just need to get the Z back on the road.....

I work for a radiology group as an MRI technologist ,hence the lack of imagination for a screen name. I think my dogs bored with it by the look on his face.

Well Gav, if you spend your day fixing old VW Kombi's and Beatles you dont want to do it on the weekends too. And looking back it was a bloody good idea too.

Steven

I graduated in communication/electronic engineering but currently am working in automoitve wiring harness engineering. It is a good first step I suppose but I am keen to get into automotive electronics, body control modules and the like.

I see what you mean :)

After reading all these responses why am I reminded of "The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy" and the Ark #2??
