hi guys i want some confirmations about upgrade my brakes. In the front i would upgrade to toyota 4x4 vented calipers with the right rotors. But is this a straight bolt on swap or do i have to use spacers? second question; i want to upgrade my rear brakes to disc. found a advert that offers 2 maxima '81 brackets and 2 '79 280zx calipers. Is this the exact combination to fit? And i gues i have to use 280zx rotors then? Is there also an upgrade for the back with vented rotors? Last question. when upgrade the brakes i have read that i have to upgrade my bmc as well. I have bought one allready and while cleaning/ renew the bmc the pistonseals broke. I found out that there are…

hi guys i have a question. I want to order some wheels for my car and decided to buy the rbx. I was thinking about 9,5j back -19 and 9j -13 front. I have zg flares and there comes a airdam on it. I ill lower the car in the future with custom coilovers. The tires will become 215/40/17. Pulled to fit. Is it possible to fit the -19 9,5 at the front to? So that you get the same all around? Or will this give problems with steering etc.? thank you

installed a 280zx brake booster on a 260z and now the idles goes up slowly when pedal is pushed...could that be because pedal travel is too much? The part is a CaeDone reman.

I can't get a decent pedal. I have a series 1 car (#20334) with the Tokico m/c that uses the push in reservoir caps and the large (front) reservoir to the front. All wheel cylinders have been disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt. Piston/pucks move freely, there are no leaks. Master cylinder has been cleaned and rebuilt with a genuine Tokico major rebuild kit that included all the internal parts, not just the rubber bits. The interior bore is clean with no pits or gouges. The design is unique. There is no solid connection between the front and rear pistons. There is a spring between them but the actual braking force seems to be transmitted by a slug of fluid between the two. …

I know the information is here but I find conflicting information. Will 225/60/14’s rub? I have a late 73 240Z with a stock suspension (poly bushings and Bilstien shocks) and nice old slotted wheels. 0 offset 6 inch wide. The valance is gone and I have an airdam. Is this a good choice?

Hey guy, So i got a 73' 240Z and im looking to put some wheels and tires on after I get the struts and springs done. Im planning on putting Tokico Illumina struts with Eibach progressive springs. Is this a good set up? After thats done im wanting to put 16x8 Rota RB's in the rear and 16x7 in the front. Both have a 0 offset. Will this ccause any rubbing issues? What will fitment be like? Also what tire sizes would you recommend? Thanks for the help.

Man, I've been trying to get rid of a NASTY front brake squeel for a year now. I put drilled and slotted rotors on, changed pads, cleaned and cleaned again. It's fine for a day or two, then SQUEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL. It's getting embarrasing, any ideas on how to quiet the damn things?

Hi guys, I have a quick question. I can't find the spacer that goes between the body wall and the brake bridge thing in the engine bay (the brake master cylinder hooks up to it). I need to find a replacement and need to know the rough size of it. Thanks. Carl

After getting my car running again, I have come across a problem, my brake booster when out.... I have searched around and done some research about where to get one, but not much luck. I've heard Advanced Auto Parts has them, but theres not a location around here. All the other chain part stores didn't have it either. My local foreign part store was no use as well. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Good Evening, The drums on my '72 240Z are worn beyond resurfacing and need to be replaced. I took this out of (not off of) a 240Z in a junk yard last week. (The aluminum drum I spent 45 minutes wrestling off was, alas, about 10 inches inside diameter -- or might as well have been.) The bolt pattern seems to fit and the Max. Dia. statement is the same as on my existing aluminum drums, indeed is in the same typeface as well. I admit utter confusion regarding stock drums. I've heard that stock were cast iron, with aluminum as after-market performance, and that stock was aluminum, and finally that stock was cast iron then switched early on to aluminum. So what am I loo…
