Does anyone have or know where I can get a good used front left strut for a 71 240z? I destroyed mine trying to remove the old shock cartridge. I have an auto seek AM radio out of my 71 that works fine that I would trade even up for a good strut. I only need the strut, no spring or cartridge or any of the other hardware. I would like it if the strut cartridge was already removed so I don't have to worry about trashing another one. Thanks, Chris.

I had always thought that the spring on a suspension controls the ride height and the strut controls rebound and adsorbs shock when the wheel hits holes and bumps. I have purchased new strut inserts, bump stops, ball joints and tie rods to try and get the ride back. but me without a garage i have to wait for the rains to stop and not be 30*. My problem is that the drivers side rear has no bounce at all, when you push the bumper down there is no movement. All other corners have the normal bounce, could i have something broken like the spring ? or is the shock blown out and all will be ok when i replace them. I am asking this so that if i need to get a replacement spring i …

I would like to use the "stock" Eibach springs in my 72 240z. All I can find are the performance springs that lower the car. Is there a part number for the standard springs? also, who sells them? Thanks Bob M

If any of you are looking for Tokiko HP's, I just bought a set from Proam.com. They're in Houston and the cost was $261.00 to California-no tax, no shipping, got here in 4 days. This was quite a bit less than anywhere else I saw. I wasn't sure where else to post this so I thought I'd put it here. Hope it helps.

Does anyone know the spring rates on the original BRE Yellow Springs? I believe it was part of their "Stage I" package. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ~Richard 73 240Z

I want to know what is better the coil over kit from ground control, cosmo, or the racing coil over kit that the z store sells. Does any one have any first hand experience with the coilover kit that the z store sells, and if you do how are they. I want a stiff performance feel with good travel so that if I hit a pot hole half my car doesnt fall in before my tires touch. I am also looking for coilovers that will allow for larger tires. Thanks for the help in advance I appreciate it.

The instruction sheet for my polyurethane bushings, for the mustache bar, says to reuse the original shell. What is the shell? Is this part of the original bushing? Thanks, Mike

Today while i was taking the old brake rotors out and noticed that the little rubber boot on the drivers side ball joint on the outer tie rod was missing. What is the cheapest fix for this problem? Do i have to replace the outer tie rod end and ball joint? or can i just go out and buy a new rubber boot for the existing ball joint? I'm on a rather tight budget currently and need to save every dollar i can. Thanx John
