We're not sure yet, I think it was from sitting outside in the cold for three weeks.

I'm breaking my own heart...
Well, after a long wait, and some miscommunication, I finally got my car back to my garage. My step dad drove it home, and he was sad because he knew how much work we put into it, and it was only running on three cylindars and wouldn't drive straight. The car was so perfect before I hit the curb. So, I sadly dove into tearing her down. I'm almost done gutting the whole interior, the dash is all that's left for the most part. I took out the tail lights, the tail light panels, the license plate light, and took off the hatch. She's becoming a shell, and its tearing me up. I know this is what has to happen, and I know that thanks to David (Zs-Ondabrain) I will have another Z soon. Three years of work to finish it, two weeks to wreck it all. Oh well, I guess life goes on. - Ian.

240z Drifting
Even though the 240Z's are "easily replaced" in the States, I wouldn't drift one. If you wreck it, you don't want to be sending it to the crusher. I think drifting is great. Its not really that competitive, but as a community based event its awesome. If you go on Drifting.com or DailyDrifter.com the guys are just so nice. Even though drifting is kind of like ice dancing for cars, its entertaining, and that's the entire purpose of drifting today. Is to entertain.

4.11 rear end, is it the right one???
I've got an R180 in my '72, but I'm selling it to my friend. The '71 I'm buying from David (Zs-Ondabrain) has an R200, and he says they're great on the street.

Carb and heater question
Well, not sure where you're going with this, but all I know is that when I was driving my car a few weeks back, that heater was nice.

ZFiberglass.com has g-noses, but I hear their quality isn't really up to par.

"Showcars Bodyparts" buyers feedback?
I'd take a search of these forums, also search on Hybridz.org. You'll find nobody wants to do businesss with that guy. - Ian.

Parting Out '72 240z! What Do You Need!
Everyone, I will be posting a list of all of the parts not spoken for in the classifieds sections. This will be quite a long list. Also, there will be a list of the parts that people have already put their name on. I will try my best to have the condition next to the parts, and also a price. All prices are negotiable. The list will be up later this week as I begin to take the car apart. - Ian.

What 240Z Design elements would you like to see in the new Z?
Nissan does still support the Datsun world. Dealerships still have ties to parts, the new Nissan add in Car & Driver has a few 240Z's and a #46 BRE 510.

Toyota Skyline GTR anyone?
Some people need to research more, haha.
