I was on a similar search for the brake cable boot for my Datsun 520. My solution was a a bicycle cable boot. I recommend you expand your search to include bike and motorcycle components. Let us know your success and failures. Keith

I have found a supplier of natural dyes (https://www.jacquardproducts.com/procion-mx), who previously indicated he was too busy to take on the project of formulating a brown dye to match the original color. Went out to the garage to look at the 240Z... Said a small prayer to offer thanks that friends and family are healthy... Said "Good Riddance" to 2020... Went back in the house to to greet 2021 with renewed energy!!!!

Anyone have experience with Spazstix Ultimate Mirror Chrome (https://www.hobbyrecreationproducts.com/collections/spazstix-ultimate-mirror-chrome)? I have an interior trim part that needs a chrome appearance and I am concerned that this paint will not be durable enough to withstand the fingerprint touching. Thanks for your input. Keith
