Britt, That car has been competing already . The pictures on that web site are of him building it. Mike had pictures on the original web site of the car done. He has one in the racing album of the car at a autocross. Here is a link to Tom Holts web site he also runs in E Prepared and is running the 16" x 10" wheel package.

Britt, Track is measured from the wheel backing plate and not from the tire or wheel outside dimensions. They are limited to what wheel width the rules allow though . Can't remember , but I believe it is 10" max wheel width in E Prepared.

Mike, You use to have more pics of that car on the old site. Do you still have them, and do we have access to the links ? Any contact information on the guy ? I can't remember the guys real name.
  10. Johns numbers on his list are pretty darn accurate, and the best thing is when you get to the end of that 1/4 mile you can turn I have a list pretty much like what John has listed , and when my financial situation improves I will be doing pretty much what he suggests. I have driven high horsepower cars that can't turn and they aren't much fun.
  11. The US 260 is different then the Euro Spec 260. They didn't get the huge bumpers , so their weight is lower then the US spec late 260 with its huge bumpers and flat top SU's.

I know a few guys who run them in the SCCA STS street tire class. The bad thing is they come in the skinny 195/60/14 size for the 14" rim..
  13. spudz replied to smg1404's topic in Open Chit Chat
I looked into those also. They have tires in the 14" sizes . let us know how you like them .
  14. Yup, Thats what I have heard also. US Spec will be the Supercharged V6 Grand Prix engine. All the reports I ahve heard from Australia say this car is junk. We discussed this same car over on Zdriver.com about a month ago.
  15. Its an early Nissan Patrol aka Roy Rogers special My friend has one

I checked with Yuichi at StrictlyZ And he said the they can get the Covercraft custom sized car covers for the 240's . They have one coming for the Zdriver.com Porject 240 car. contact Yuichi at : service@strictlyz.com

Covercraft also makes good car covers. Check out their stire at : covercraft Check the list of fabrics and make sure you get one that fits what storage option you are using .
  18. Ozlime, Around 150 HP plus or minus is pretty good for a L28 at the rear wheels. To get more then that needs a little more dialing in and you have to do some port matching , balancing and a few other things. What is your compression ? Get those carbs dialed in and those nubers should be around 150.

Z's bolt pattern is 4 x114.3, so I doubt they will fit.
  20. If they were older then me they would really be Vintage
  21. That +27 offset is closer to a front wheel drive offset. Would look good on a SX.
  22. 2ManyZ's , are they called Vintage races because you are going to be there Sounds like it will be a great time. Vintage and historic races are like going to a cool auto museum .
  23. Eric, You have to quit buying stuff you don't want and other people do . How is that air dam working for you ?
  24. Steve, Do you have anymore pics of Mark's car. If not can you get more pics this weekend.
  25. Fairlady, I left you a message in Zdriver.com about the rear end. In addition to what 2manyZ's said. I have heard of one guy using the 200SX turbo rear end and Eagle 4 wheel drive front halfshafts as a bolt in to the Z. I wish I would have kept that post. We might be bringing in some used Nissan LSD units out of Japanese Skylines. Not sure yet on if its a go and when
