Ricers are those who put really tacky things on their cars to make them look fast. Generally they own economy cars. A picture tells a thousand words.
  2. You might want to mention where you are located.
  3. Awesome, thanks. Cool vid, but we need more acccccction! Please:bunny:
  4. Hence why I said "the only word in the dictionary" not "the only word". It was just meant to be a bit of trivia, geez.
  5. Yeah, Darius is better known for his motorcycle stunts.. he's somehow escaped death more than his fair share, he's like... invincible or something! Speeding is one thing - reckless driving is something else again.
  6. I think that you will find in a proper dictionary 'Qantas' is accepted as a real word, not an acronym. That is, it's written as 'Qantas', not 'QANTAS'. I'm not a fan of www.dictionary.com, it has several discrepancies.
  7. Yeah, needs a certain codec. I'd like to know where I can get it too!
  8. You might want to try to use the choke on cold mornings?
  9. Indeed. I'm going to take mine off when I get the rust down there fixed up, and they won't be going back on. I think I will have the bottom part painted black, 1 because there wont be a problem with trying to match the colour, and 2 because it will look like the GT-R is supposed to. Makes perfect sense. The only problem with that is the black bits on the bottom tend to make hte car look like it's sitting higher than it really is. Hmm...
  10. Looks good! Although your other wheels have a veyr nice dish there... your car is very straight, and that paint job looks great. Never really noticed before... but guh that rear "Skyline" thing... egghh. You're missing the side little chrome strips that run along just under the door, though. Do you know this? Looks fine without them, though. The GT-R had black ones that went from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the car, FWIW.
  11. Datto 240Z, Have a look in a dictionary mate I think you will find it is a word. Also if we're going to be picky, Northern Territory (with two R's) isn't a state, it's a territory. And my screen name is "Alfadog", thanks.
  12. FWIW, Mazda Cosmo.
  13. Cool, they'll look great on your car - personally I think they'd look better without flares - not sure what you think though. Very nice wheels! Don't quite know how you scored such a great deal! Quite lucky indeed.

  15. Oh no quite the opposite, I'm sure they didn't add the repeaters for design purposes, but they may have EXCLUDED them in certain markets where they weren't neccessary for that reason.
  16. Youre right there, all of us know, they teach us in bloody school!!!
  17. Not wanting to be picky but........... it's spelt QANTAS (the only 'Q' word in the dictionary that doesn't preceed a 'U')
  18. There's a few on the Gold Coast - one really nice red one has hte number plate [DATSUN]...
  19. No way!!! It wasn't even cooked yet... I had it for dinner though and it was quite tasty.
  20. Interesting.. I think the fact that some markets had fenders without repeaters goes to show how much influence the designers had. That's assuming the repeaters were excluded in markets where they werent needed solely for the looks of the car... is there any other explanation?
  21. Attached is a picture of the spare set of lights.
  22. Thanks! The chrome is all straight on that corner of the car - the other 3 corners have dings everywhere! The tail lights were second hand but after a really good clean and polish they came out really well. I have another set of GTR tail lights I might sell if I can get a decent price. The problem is importing them costs as much as they're worth so youre automatically paying about double the price. . . . . I'm sorry about not getting back to you! Will send a pm.
  23. Yeah, I suggest giving htem a good clean first - they should come up looking great. Here's another tip, I did this with my 240K and 240Z. Take apart the tail lights, and paint the inner part white instead of the original greyish colour. This will make the lights brighter and cleaner looking. (attached is a pic of my car with the GT-R tail lights in, just cos I can)
