  1. Similar kind of wheels look good on a Skyline, though!
  2. Wow hey is that your car in the avatar?

  4. A *lot* of power loss with a 30 year old auto compared to manual. And it's just no fun!
  5. The stock rims on a 71 were 14" black steel wheels. Is this what you mean? I only ask because other than on concourse restored cars theyre not popular. Do you want hubcaps, too?
  6. My prayers go out to your daughter and your family tonight. Take care.
  7. Bit of an amatuer question...... how tightly should one do up ones lug nuts?

Awesome pictures Alan, I would love to see one of the old beauties in Japan one day... or even a replica would be good! Thanks for sharing!

  12. I think Ben is running dual SU roundtops!!
  13. Wow, news to me. LONG LIVE THE STRAIGHT SIX!!!
  14. Sounds like something like that........ I know which one I'd rather!!! Simply because of hte price of these cars I doubt I'll ever own a real one. It seems a bit silly to be honest... !

  16. Since they weren't sold in America (I think) and this one is a Japanese export.......... it's worth as much as you think it is. But I think for that price it's worth it just for the engine!!
  17. A mix of both? I only see C210 there... Looks like a normal 2000 GTX. They came with a 2.0 straight SIX though, not four. It sounds like this 2.8 that's in it at the moment is a pretty tough unit though!! Definitely not a GT-R though. This shape never came in GT-R form. Still pretty cool though!

My picture has been posted! ...dont expect me to tell you where though!!
  19. Thought this might be of some interest, an authentic KPGC110 Skyline GT-R for sale on Yahoo Auctions. Looks to be in great nick, with the original 14x5 steel wheels for that 100% stock look. It's even got an S20 sitting in the front. http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f17932912 Oh yeah, $1 USD is approx. equal to 111 Yen. $1 AUD is about 81 Yen. You do the maths.

Hmm I've got no idea! I try not to go into newsagents, as I end up coming out with a much lighter wallet!

Italians... Perhaps it might be wise to direct them to this thread so they can see the outrage amongst enthusiasts? I thought the Internet was bad enough for misinformation. It's terrible that magazines are just as bad.......

  24. OK, 20 minutes later I found it! 17MB. http://auto.joins.com/upboard/pds/pdst/20040223254658_16BM_Video.wmv
  25. Another race: - Nissan Skyline G35 - Mazda MX-5 - Mazda RX8 - Subaru WRX - Honda S2000 - Honda Integra Type-R S2000 won, with the G35 closely behind. Then WRX, Type-R, RX-8 and MX-5. Only a 3 lap race though!! But interesting. Seeing how much the G35 caught up on the S2000 in the last lap of this video, I would expect it could overtake give another 2 laps. It was much more competitive than I expected...
