Will, Thanks for the info! This morning, my dad told me pretty much the same thing, and that a title isn't required. I just can't sell the car....not that I ever will. 4 days until I finally get my Z. YEAH! :classic: Jason

So did anyone ever figure out what to do? I'm in the same situation as y'all. I'm buying a 1973 240Z from a guy in North Carolina. The car doesn't have a title, which, as far as I know, is required for registration and a tag. I live in Georgia and plan to drive this daily, and am totally unsure of what to do. A friend of mine, who's father is a lawyer, bought a 1975 Porsche 914 without a title. Instead, he used a Bill of Sale for registration and a tag, if I remember correctly. Does anyone know if the DMV will accept a Bill of Sale for registration, a tag, and obtaining a title? I'm not surprised that a government "service" is so confusing. My father is supposed to have talked to the people at the DMV today, so I will know later tonight. I'll post whatever I know at the first chance I get. Jason
