I just stumbled on this thread today and after spending almost 6 years on Okinawa as a servicemember, I never once saw nor heard of a LHD C10. I owned and shipped back the C10 to the US in 1982 which met with unhappy circumstances thanks to an idiot driver. (not me )The car was repairable but I was an idiot myself for ever selling it.:stupid::stupid::stupid::stupid: I still regret it to this day.

What sizes of gauges are those that you installed?

This couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks!!! I', replacing my radiator and water pump, thermostat housings, timing cover etc... and don't like the dirty corroded old nuts and bolts.

I'd be interested in one or two. I really don't care if it is metal, fiberglass, or plastic. Carbon fiber would be nice but waaaaaay too expensive I would think.

The rear control arms should be the same with one exception. You may have to thin down the edges that contact the rear strut assy where the spindle pins go. I found the suggestion from someone else on this site invaluable for this. Lay a piece of sandpaper on a FLAT surface and sand a little at a time untill they fit, making sure that you take off eqaul amounts on both peices. Hope this helps and is what you were looking for.

Check with USPS also. I have to ship a 45lb package to Australia and it is costing about $195 US. UPS wanted over $400 US for the same package.

I did the ZX swap with Dave's alternator adapter plug and with Crane ignition, and waaaaaay tooooooo muuuuuuch power in the stereo department (over 2300 watts) I get the ammeter to do the dance but it handles it better than I thought it would.

I may be mistaken but....here goes. I thought that with the exception of actual track cars the KPGC-10 (GT-R)'s did not have front flares on them. Only the rears had the flares? The front flares didn't show up on the street cars until the Kenmeri's came out?

I did this before. I had a KGC10 in the US that I sold 21 years ago and I still kick myself in the arse for getting rid of it!!!! Man I was stupid.There are a lot of friends here that I am sure would help you out to keep it. I'm with Arne tho also. It is tempting (If I had the money)to buy it and ship it here to the US. DON'T SELL IT!!!!!

I went with the ZX alt swap with mine and I am running an electric fan, electronic ignition and about 2200 watts of stereo and unless I REALLY crank the stereo I don't have any issues with the 60 Amp alt.

I ride a 2005 Sportster 1200 Custom as a daily driver and my wife drives our 2004 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon. I don't have any pictures yet. But then I also have my 72 Z which will start getting completly taken apart for the bodywork to get rid of the rust on it.

Carl has helped me out with gobs of information and I have bought parts for my Z from him and have missed him on this site for quite some time. He will be sorely missed. I don't even think he owes anyone an apology. The world should not have to have sugar coated answers to every question asked. If you get offended because someone answered your question whether blunt and to the point or not you need to get a life. If you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question. The only connection to the "faked" death postings is that someone else (obviously) posted it here. While I knew my post wouldn't be popular, I am just a cautious person. While I am shocked at the news as most of us are and agree that Carl was very helpful and knowlegeable on the Z, I am the type of person who after being duped once before by a so called death of an enthusiast here I approach this with caution. ChrisA, this is not a slam on you!!! If it is true then My condolences for Carls family in their loss and I pray that Carl rests in peace. If it is not true...then you all can fill it in. I really don't want to be negative because it is so possible.

I agree. I am not just glad, I am extremely thankful that Nissan Sport is willing to go the extra mile and honor the subscriptions. I work in retail and while one business is going under another is stepping up and taking care of customers. (not even their customers) They didn't have to, They are. THANK YOU!!!

When my subscription ends, then I will make up my mind as to whether or not I will continue. I do wish you the best in your endeavors and appreciate what your are trying to do. Time will tell...

Except for the fact that I committed to the 5 year subscription deal with first class postage...That is what I really wanted to say but was a little upset so it didn't come out this way...thanks mdbrandy

That REALLY SUCKS!!! I got suckered and bought into a 5 year subscription because I liked Sport Z Magazine. The new one will honor the subscription thankfully but now I have to sift through all the non z car crap and keep what interests me. The ole Zed!!!
