Replace the rubber with rubber to keep a softer, more forgiving ride-but know you will need to replace them again down the road. Replace the rubber with urethane to add some response to the suspension, and remove most of the compliance, at the expense of some of the ride comfort. Replace the bearings as they need it Shocks will make a good difference too-might look in the acrhives, Mike has done an article on the adjustable variety, and many members have given their opinions throughout the suspension forums..
