I had light weight magnesium alloy seat rails on my first road bike. They failed 60km into a 120km ride. I did the last half standing on the pedals. a reasonable facsimile

Vapour line does little. You seem to be running out of fuel in the bowls or have some sort of strange air leak into the manifold that increases with rpms.

Oh boy! You are in for a treat. Torque, Sound, and Superb road feel. You will love it,! After you break it in consider 40mm triple carbs!

Bad steel is a big business and there does not seem to be any significant quality controls enforced. It gets in the supply chain of brake rotors and we end up with crap.

It is not a "political opinion" , it is a fact. Poor quality and fake products intentionally spewing from mainland China are getting into every sector including Z parts. Keep your head in the sand or help others avoid them... your choice.

That is all I could think of. The mechanical pump has a high pressure limit so it should work on its own with the return line dead headed. Not sure how high the pressure will go as I never tested this but it may be a way to rule out short cycle of fuel bypassing the bowls.

If the fuel rail is a standard 240z one: Does the fuel rail still have the small orifice on its exit so that most fuel goes to the bowls rather than return to the tank? Try running with just the mechanical pump and the return line dead-headed.

The problem mentioned in the fire truck crash is to see ahead through the windows of cars in front. It is like the sensors can only see what is immediately in front of them.... not like us dumb humans who can tell what is going on 500m ahead most of the time. I bet the industry will lobby govt; who will yield, to mandate ID and location transmitters (tracking emitters) on all new vehicles so that their position can be "seen" by these current poor systems that crash and kill.
