  1. Well.... The Triumph was kinda given to me from my dad. Im slowly paying him back(more $$$ is going into the Z account tho). I dont really need to spend any money on it, we got half a parts car with it :stupid: ! Cheer'z' Chris
  2. I wish i had a Z to play with...:sleepy: And beleive me i dont have that much spare time on my hands with school(yr11 TEE) and doing up my current car( '75 Triumph 2500) and working to save for a Z!:stupid: Thanx Bambikiller240... Cheer'z' Chris

  4. Compediter to the Z? That'll be the day... lolROF Looking at my trusty Z history book (ESSENTIAL DATSUN Z) it says in UK racing Porche 935 were the main compediter. It doesnt say anything about US race compediters. Anything could be a compediter to the Z. Take Australia for exsample. Most citizens are one-eyed Falcon or Commodore(Australian built V8 sedans) supporters that think a Datsun means "granny driven old rust heap. Thats one of the reasons why I want a Z so badly so i can proove em all wrong! From its day, sale(pricing) compediters were(according to the same book) MGB GT, Opel GT, Triumph TR6, Triumph GT6 and Fiat 124 Spider. But Performace compediters were Porche 911's and Jaguar E-Type's. Good bang for your buck eh? Its 0-60mph time was even better than the 911 turbo. 7.8 for the Z, 8.1 for the 911T. Cheer'z' Chris
  5. I dont think you'll find much help here. The site is aimed at earlyer Zs. Mainly 240z/260z/280z. And there are a couple of members are... lets say... ZX haters:classic: Someone might help you. Cheer'z' Chris
  6. I was wondering if Datsun ever made a TV ad for the early Z? If so, where can I download it? <-- Do you like my new avatar?(a bit off topic but hey) Cheer'z' Chris
  7. Awww... Isnt that a nice thing to hear:classic: One Zeder helpin' another outa' the kindness of their heart. Cheer'z' Chris

  10. HP: Exactly the same as a 300zx Turbo 1/4 mile: Maybe a couple of hundreths difference than a 300zx Turbo A VG30DETT(twin turbo) has been tranplanted into early Zeds before. And VG30's can produce great HP and can look the part too! Cheaper than RB's too! Cheer'z' Chris
  11. Dang! I wish I saw that $1100 240z in the quokka! I probly would have borrowed $300 off dad and got it! It would give me something to do after school!(clean it up etc.) Cheer'z' Chris

  16. Hi all. I was just wondering what performance upgrades you have done to you L series engine, the price and power gain. I was just wondering because I can see me getting a Z fairly soon. Cheer'z' Chris
  17. I donno if this seat has already been mentioned but here goes anyway... Its a 'Cobra Classic'. AUD$355. I found it in an oldish car magazene(5months old). Cheer'z' Chris
  18. wouldnt doubt it Datto-Zed! ! Ahh... I dont think you gat the term 'walkabout' Bambikiller240... Dont think many americans would... walkabout is a term used by Aboriginals(native australians). for it to be gramatically correct you would say it. hes gone walkabout to Pakistan. Broken English. Cheer'z' Chris
  19. 1 bravo 6, i beleive the right word is 'walkabout' or 'pink-eye'. Geez, it takes about 5 days driving across AU, so i dout he would be walkin:stupid: Cheer'z' Chris

I would like to know if MSA export to Australia too. Because when i get my 240z(and i will:stupid: ) i want some things from there, mainly the 6-2 header and 'twice pipes'.
