  1. Wanted to say something about safety belts.. I drive my 240z with race harness over 15 years now. We have APK as England has MOT and Germany TUV. They never asked about it.. I have the original belts also installed on the same bolts, sitting behind the seat.. never had to demonstrate them, the technician that does my cars APK has never seen those original belts! My 4 way Harness are from OMP.
  2. Hi, Don't know were you are from but go for a 280zx, lots of cars and even more parts for low prices.. in de States.. Here in Europe those are rising ! 240z and other s30 parts are getting very expensive. If you want to drive the car buy a 280zx and if your looking for an investment buy an early 240Z .... I am restoring a 280zx 2+2, just because the 240z i'm driving for 17 years (!) now is becoming to interesting for people that want to take it.... for free.... Let us know what you are going for. Mart.
  3. In Germany they would say: He has a bird in his head! (Er hat ein vogel i'm kopf) meaning.. is he in his right mind...
  4. I think its a electric problem.. a contact failing in your ignition.. because you say it ran perfect after a fail for some time.. check your wiring. fwiw Mart

  9. Yeah.. just have to wire it up for the JDM turn signal... pff.. let me know how you are doing.. its a lot more work then just putting the new lights in! The wiring is completly different.. I am curious about your solution! The alarm-lights switch alone is completely different with its 9 contacts.. the dutch (European) switch has.. i believe.. 3 contacts.. Grts,Mart
  10. Thanks Carl for the info! That number 99996 i have it from internet.. On the cam rear end is E1031. It's an Original Datsun part wrapt in DATSUN special paper and covered in a special oil packed in plastic. Maybe i can look it up on old microfiches.. I do have some Original nissan sets of fiches of the s30 for the fan. Think i keep the camshaft for future use.. Grts,Mart

"have owned a lot of them" serviced them and drove ém.. (240z 280zx and the 300zx z31 and z32 non and TT) I now have a part for sale.. A Slalom camshaft, partnr is on it saying: E1031 Lookt it up and it is probebly 99996-E1031 On the packing it say's also: 475 lift / 275 duration.
