  1. Hi, Thank you very much,240 in OZ. I saw them 175HR14 on ebay and I was going to bid but I did not.Because I wanted 175SR14,I wanted which I saw in catalog and it was different from the ebay item. I think the photo of 26th-Z is showing exactly original 1970 175 SR14.Because I can see same tread pattern in many magazines and factory catalog. I still want to buy 175 SR14,I posted "wanted" in other thread before.I will resume that thread. To 26th-Z,may I use your photo "175SR14"for my other"wanted" thread? If you allow me to attach the photo,it is easy to show everyone what I want . Thank you, kats P.S.You can see the tread pattern in this photo.Same as 26th-Z's photo,is not it? This is a HLS30 for test drive on Nov 25th 1969. This day was a test drive day for journalists. There were 3Zs, a yellow fairlady Z-L, a green fairlady Z-432, and a DATSUN 240Z not mention color(seems me green with tan interior). Please note no-rear window defroster, and a lisence plate is a temporaly issued one which we can see it in all Zs in the earliest japanese catalog. And deck emblem"240Z" has "Z" in chrome plated not painted white, this is only for early(1969)?
  2. Hi, What everyone do with this plastic washer for quater trim? This is a new old stock from NISSAN several years ago. I save original one but it is got sun- tan. I saw washers on interior door panel,is this happened only early 240Z? Please let me know about it. kats

I want to have 5 of them,But currently no one offer me. It is too diffcut to get but I am ready for paying more than expected. Thank you 26th-Z,nice photos. This is the first time I see clearly original 1970 175sr14.Great photos. kats

Hi, I can see the steel wheels are different and these are what Mr.MATSUO told me before he wanted to put as standerd equipment for 240Z but NISSAN refused because of much higher cost. Thanks, kats
  5. Alan, What a great picture it is!!Thank you so much,I knew this shot in japanese photographic magazine but it was mono-color. This is a beautiful color photo, this is what I have been looking for long time.Alan you know,my 240Z is not original blue I want to paint it as original #903 in the future. I think due to age or something,it is seen little bit different from actual body color, this is a picture anyway. I think this shot was taken by Mr.IGARASHI,I was going to ask him to show original print,I thought he must have it as a color print. But Mr.MATSUO told me unfortunately he died 2 or 3 years ago.He was a very very keen about car not only japanese but also for europian and american car. His book is really fan to look at. I want to see more pics if you have,Alan. P.S I would like to say agian these photos I posted are from Mr.OSAWA's 8mm video movie,I took shots from my home TV. But Mr.OSAWA also took so many pictures at a same time during on road test. Thank you, kats
  6. Yes,they are same 240Z. Mr.OSAWA showed me that picture,I saw it is a color picture. In the magazine,it is black and white. He let me took a look so many pictures of road test in the U.S. I will post some from my 8mm scanning. kats

Hi, I found black one from Jan.1970 issued "car graphic"in japan. This car must be built in 1969 due to the date of issue of magazine. I can see the black splash pan under the S20 engine. This is a fairlady Z432. So,black pan had already been seen in 1969,I can say there have been two colors (black and silver)from 1969.
  11. Mr.OSAWA said 2 silver 240Z,one is 4 speed manual trans, another one is automatic trans. This is amaizing,we did not know automatic already built such early days.
  12. Thank you everyone, Yes, the red 240Z is special.I show you another "non-badge 240z"this shot is from Mr.OSAWA's 8mm camera never seen to the public. This silver 240Z has arrived at NMC in Oct.2nd 1969 for 3months road test in north america. You can see Mr.K at 60 years old. kats
  13. I show you interesting photo. These hub caps was found by Mr.Matsuo in his stock yeard. They still got rapped unti-water papers. All of them are beautiful, they are earliest caps you can see tabs are different from later ones. I can see "IKI 103" IKI is a manufacture's name.
  14. Hello, I show you my 240Z got old bridgestone 6.45H14. This is not origanal, but you can see the 1969 240Z in press photo got same size tires. Also there is a discription in Nov.1969 HLS30 parts catalog "tire is 6.45 H14" and also we can see that size in owners manual and service manual with 175SR14 and 175HR 14.I know 175 SR14 is original for my march 1970 240Z. Very careful looking, press photo shows "BRIDGESTONE SUPER SPEED 2"for it's tire. And another press photo I can see "6.45H14"on it's tire. My tire is "SKYWAY-H"so this is different. But looks like press photo tire,I like this old bridgestone logo. Any comment please, thank you. kats
