#64 just popped up on ebay
I google/images that picture. It does have the antenna on the same side though. I'm almost positive the first Zs only had AM though but can't say for sure if a right handed car has the opposite volume knob. Theres two members that know the answer but whether or not they enlighten me is unknown. Maybe so?

Camshaft Oil Spray Bar Redesign and Rebuild
I realized the stamped was inward punched, counterintuitive in my opinion so I ran a small bit in and out. With a high flow pump it drenches my cam now.

Sarcasm? Did the early cars have FM? I didn't catch that until now.

I'm pretty sure I booked the 16th through the 19th at the Hilton. I do know the heat really was the same, horrible! $109/night (+tax) – This is a reduced room rate! This room night rate is good from July 12-20, 2015.

I had one of the best weekends of my life in Memphis, TN. Spent it with like minded friends and peers. Can hardly wait until that happens again. You guys are the best!

I've never seen a fusible link like you've posted above. You could have some homemade fusible links? People think they are just wires when they're not. Here's a good write up from Mr. Blue, it's good info if you haven't already seen it. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fusiblelinks/index.html

Sentra A/C in a Z?
I'll gather up all my a/c parts and what's already in the car and post them. I'm thinking I have all I need except the compressor and maybe a better drier. I want a current freon style, 134a? They'll probably outlaw that as soon as I buy one. My '77 has factory air but it's the R12. I've read there is a drop in replacement now for commercial coolers and freezers, RS-24. I'd like to try that on the 280.

Sentra A/C in a Z?
You're exactly right, it's got a serpentine pulley and belt. The evap box is what got my interest up, it's smaller and mounts right up under the glove box with the ducting going out the same as my ARA one does in the other 240. It's hoses also go through the firewall at about the same location. Eh, I'll figure something out and use the money from when I sale the Sentra. Thank you for the ideas! I can use the the old evap box and controls with this, I think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-C-UNDERHOOD-UPGRADE-PACKAGE-FOR-DATSUN-240Z-260Z-280Z/181739985434?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D68f6f92f82714a059d0e1d6eab5bb956%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D181739985434

Sentra A/C in a Z?
I got a '95 Sentra with bone chilling air for $400. I've read people talk about it but nothing ever definitive or successfully done. Is there any way I might rob the system and put it in my 240? The evaporator box is looking like a good swap as is the blower. The hardlines could be fabbed up I think. Has anybody ever done this? I've got a $400 car that blows 45 degree a/c. Vintage air is $1200 just for parts. Thanks for any ideas, good or bad. I'm hoping someone else has thought about this.

Steady as a rock! But I shoot with this hand. Hilarious movie, I watch it everytime it's on even though I have the uncensored DVD. Mel looking at those boobies saying "work work work, all I do is work". When Clevon tries to grab that chess piece before the Waco Kid is so funny. A little camera trickery there?

1973 Rebuild
You probably already know this but I like to blab so if you'll put a small piece of wood about an inch think under the valves face then put an appropriate sized socket over the retainer, spark plug socket was what I used, and whack it with rubber mallet it'll break those keepers loose beforehand. Makes it a little easier, they'll fall out when you clamp the compressor down.

Well I guess steady hands will be my 1 out of 2. Beer has always helped make up for those huge balls.

I finally drank enough beer to get up the nerve to paint the lettering on my face plate. The paint pen @psdenno recommended works great. I'm going to put a couple of coats over the next day or two.

1973 Rebuild
I've got that same spring compressor, it's great once you get it adjusted. I was kind of worried at first that I was too tight with it but that's what it takes. I found that a pen type magnet helped a lot for grabbing the retainer keepers.

[2016] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
Is that the border fence in the background? If so there's no wonder why we have so many illegal Canadians down here picking tomatoes.

Yeah, you should twist the throttle rod and not have to get in the car. What about the shade tree ways of testing the alternator? Unhook the negative battery cable and see if it keeps running. See if a screwdriver sticks to the back of the alternator like a magnet. I guess that works on all alternators and I've done that a bunch of times on older cars, probably not a good idea on a newer one with a computer though. Or what about stopping by an auto parts store and they'll roll out that cart that checks to see if it's the battery or the alternator?
