  1. Hot for teacher was one of my first and favorite mtv videos. That teacher was HOT!!!
  2. There you go! From the Doctor. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50482-tail-light-restoration/?do=findComment&comment=459378
  3. Remember the ball hammocks he wore? Talk about jump! My favorite was "take your whiskey home" https://g.co/kgs/dk1kN5
  4. He's a big ole puzzy cat! Snow on his pads freaked him out. Very spoiled inside dog. I'm gonna have to attach a Ziploc bag on his anus if it gets cold again. Spoiled rotten sleeping, snoring right by me now. I don't think I'm man enough for real kids.
  5. I've been holed up for two weeks with this.
  6. Good read Charles, thank you. I'll hold on to my two and wish I'd kept the red 240 I sold too cheap. My family says sale the 280 but it's rust free and I have the room so it's not going anywhere. Also just like the car I drove at 18. Carol Burnett sang "memories, I'm so glad we had this time together" Misses ah wigginz
  7. Appears to be Valspar plastic white but I'll try and tag him. I went by that same thread with great results. Thank you @Dr. 240Z I used appliance white on mine, had almost a full can already.
  8. If that Yorx A/C isn't operable yank that POS out. I had the same set-up and just replacing the fuel pump was a huge pain. They're heavy and the pulley set-up is very cumbersome for setting the timing, swapping water pumps etc. My opinion only. I hate those things.
  9. Thanks Steve, I warned him. " Good information from good people here (not me though). "
  10. I like the Hankook Ventus on my 15x7 wheels. They were about $60 each from discounttiredirect.com, if I remember right.
  11. Just read something I forgot about. From the Good Captain " pull the starter solenoid wire off and turn the key to START to get the fuel pump to run without engaging the starter." And from the Good RCB280Z, " I usually power the pump thru the afm, the cover is held in place with zip ties. It always pressurizes the system right away so I know flow is good. There's a switch in the AFM under the black plastic cover.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Good information from good people here (not me though). A good start and free pretty much, is to clean all your ground points. Specifically the EFI grounds. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/electricalconnections/index.html Then a clear filter between the tank and the fuel pump. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fuel/g3filter/index.htm Read through this too. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/efisystem/280zfuelinjectionbook.pdf
  13. Exactly! Thank you. amazon has one with good reviews for around $100.
  14. I forgot about that album, thank goodness. Sammy Hagar sang "why can't this be love?" Because you SUCK! David Lee is Van Halen. Those brothers were just in his band.
  15. Britney Spears.
  16. It got rid of my stumble up 2,500 rpm. That's got me wondering, what Zed said about the WOT increase in fuel. That's where the TVS clicks on the front contact. The WOT contact. Uhmmm? Bob I played with mine on the interstate a few times. I could make it run cooler on the temp gauge, better MPG all by slightly leaning it out. I wish I had a pyrometer in my header or something similar with a gauge in the cabin. Can't think of what guys are using to tune their carbs. Seems like Madkaw has two? For the few dollars you have a new toy to play around with. I just hope it helps your sniffer test. Win win.
  17. Mine was "M 5150", from glove box. Very fitting, code for involuntary psych hold.
  18. This a group of friends. Everyone's trying to help here, no discontented jack wads.
  19. Something currently talked about, check the vane in the AFM. Its under the black box. Makes sure it moves freely and also pop off the black cover on the TPS. Make sure it's not stuck on the throttle Idle contact, the contact closer to the rear of the car. Spider webs and moisture cause problems on those components. Have you washed the engine bay lately?
  20. Sounds like the fuel filter is running dry to me. Runs until it's emptied. Try clear filter after the filter but before the fuel rail. My crudded up fuel tank did the same. After it sat and the debris fell to the bottom it would run about one block then die out. Took the hose off the filter outlet and blew into it until I heard bubbling in the tank. Hooked it back up and drove it home, many times. Then I figured it out.
  21. Fingers crossed for you Ferg. It needed to be done anyway I always say. You know things you've done are right in those spots too, you won't have to worry. Good luck! Cliff
  22. Dummy here going to ask, does it run better? I hope so.
  23. I'm not one to whizz on your parade but ive read many threads where folks don't even run vacuum advance. take that for a grain of salt but it's out there if you feel like reading until yours eyes bleed. I hope thats your problem but I have a funny feeling there's more to it than something simple like we're thinking. There's a reason such a nice car was put out to pasture like the one you have. I hope I'm wrong but...
  24. He's started an ALADOG program around here. I got a smaller bottle, my Mom always said I was "half drunk". Can't let her down now.
  25. I'm sorry Bob. At least you didn't spend too much and can be of help to others in the future. Bummer, but we learn from you. Cliff I got me a Bottle of Patron for this winter wizz storm. I'm chasing my dog around trying to lick his nose like he does me every frickin morning.
