Madkaw had an issue with one I think. I've run them on everything from low psi Mercury outboards to 36 Psi on my 280 before the fpr to check for pink colored fuel on my '77. No leaks. I have them on everything but my Camry and Exmark mower without issue since the late '80s. Just change the screens. I've been lucky I guess?

@Captain Obvious My mind works like a steel trap. Once it's in there it won't get out. I have a good memory when it comes to things I'm interested in. I hope your E31 deal works out. 8^)
  4. I'd have to fly out and be chained to a stump to get real help from Ms Dennis. We'd burn up the ram going online. I got a middle of the road HP Pavilion. Thank you and the misses though! She would get a physco drama out of of the deal, close to "Sling Blade". Umm huh...
  5. Ed Zachary! Nothing supplies-es me anymore in this this thread. Would your better half consider some online help for me? I've been doing some state funded vocational testing the past week or so and I've answered and arraigned the red and white blocks so many times I'm about to puke. I know now what my parents bitched about all my life when discussing state funded redundancy. It is not funny now that I'm going through it. Life is tough. Mr Anheuser and Mr Busch figured that out for me but I didn't get it until this year.
  6. Somebody please! I can't bring myself to say it...
  7. Or say it twice like Gomer, supplies! supplies!
  8. Ed Zachery. A woman was very distraught at the fact that she had not had a date, nor any sex, in quite some time. She was afraid she might have something wrong with her, so she decided to employ the medical expertise of a sex therapist. Her MD recommended that she go see Dr. Chang, the well-known sex therapist. Upon entering the examination room, Dr. Chang said, "OK, take off all your crose." So she did."Now, get down on all fours and crawl reery fass to the other side of loom." So, she did.Dr. Chang then said, "OK now crawl reery fass to me," so she did.Dr. Chang slowly shook his head and said "Your probrem vewy bad. You haf Ed Zachary Disease... worse case I ever see...that why you not haf sex or dates."Confused, the woman asked, "What is Ed Zachary Disease?"Dr. Chang replied, "It when your face rook Ed Zachary rike your arse."
  9. I can start pulling my choke off as soon as the needle starts to move. I'm pretty sure it's for cranking and not meant to be left on until full operating temperature. But what do I know, I'm just here for the funny conversation.

Same story for me too GWRI8. I have the G3 on my 280 and a G2 on the 240, both to catch badly applied Red-Kote tank liner. Ends up I did better than I thought I would and there's been know Red-Kote over the past few years. Mine turn an orangish color after a year or two so I replace them, @$2.99 each I buy 2 at a time. Put one in the fuel flow and the other in a tool bin in case I break down. I'll give the larger micron filters a look Chickenman, that makes sense to me now that I'm not worried about the Red-Kote. I've never heard (until know) anyone complain but I'm sure if you left one on forever it would self destruct. They are cheaply made or Walmart wouldn't sale them. With these, the cast aluminum starts to disintegrate after a few years. Same as any filter, they are meant to be swapped out periodically. I've been telling my Mom that for 30 years. She won't change the furnace filter until it gets cold inside her house, then they look like thin square cats with all the fur on them.
  11. That's a great idea! Porn on a loop plus some spray bars, 3D glasses. Google "squirter girls".
  12. Such a beautiful day out and I only drive my '72 240Z on these type days so I was considering having a sunroof or similar of high quality installed. It's garage kept and if and only if it sees rain is when I unexpectedly get caught out in inclement weather so no issues with any leakage to worry with. Since its Sunday and everything's closed I was hoping someone could share their experience on the cost, fit and finish of a nice sunroof/moonroof for our cars. This isn't a definite decision but something I'm considering so I'm asking the forum for advice or some type of direction on the options I have. Thank you for taking the time to reply with any pertinent information on this. Thank you, Cliff

I have a box of plastic bits and pieces that has some knobs and a fuse block cover. Let me try to find it and I'll post up some pictures of what I have. It's 240 stuff too.
  15. When a man of few words, such as you, writes out something like that my bullshit radar pegs out. 8^)
  16. Fonzie was the coolest when I was a kid. Aaaaaaaaay... and wru wru wru wrong...
  17. If and when you put one in make sure the little jiggly hole is on the driver's side. Our motors tilt to the other side and that hole lets air pockets escape.
  18. Is that nissan's version of the vw rabbit? 8^) On Easter I always think of Luke eating all those eggs. I used "Cappin's" greatest line for my voice mail greeting and people would laugh, hang up and call back to hear it again. What we got here is failure to communicate
  19. On my '72 the normal day in and day out gauge reading is the needle on the right leg of the M. When I look at my gauge it has TEMP written on it. The needle lines up with the right side of the M in TEMP. Right before the P. That is between 170 & 175 degrees measured many times with a meat thermometer inside the radiator while flowing coolant, thermostat open. I have a 180 Nissan thermostat. It opens at 180 degrees. After the thermostat opens it doesn't matter if it's a 160 or 180. It's open and won't close. In your climate I can't see any reason for a 160. Those open sooner for the heater core or heat inside the cabin.
  20. Brits wrote the fsms for German designed cars built in Japan.
  21. Guy taught me that and it works great.
  22. $5 a car, I'll take $20 worth. April fools!
