  1. I've been trying to learn sketchup pro all day today. This is my first foray into 3d modeling. I'm trying to have some z things 3d printed. I've tried importing the jpg file and drawing an outline over the top but haven't been successful. Perhaps its the angle of the picture i'm using. I don't know. Anyone got any suggestions? I sure wish i had one of those 3d scanners!
  2. The old girl has arthritis and likes saddle soap or wax everywhere plastic panels overlap each other.
  3. What happened to all the right hand drive parts? he's keeping them? I'm wondering if there are any shops out there that just put block-off plates when they do conversions like this so that they can easily be converted back to their original configuration. That poor old 240z in the background doesn't get any attention at all. Very nice upholstery job btw. When I shipped my 280z over from long beach to hawaii, i could track the ship online. I don't know how many cars you've shipped, but from my experience, check real good for anything damaged or missing BEFORE you sign the release papers. I hope its going inside a container too.
  4. Yep, especially when the trans is on its way out. Why waste money on new fluid?
  5. How does the transmission work overall? does it slip when it downshifts into 2n'd? Does reverse make strange noises or slip? If any slippage, don't change it. Even if you did change the oil and it started slipping, you can pick a used jatco up pretty cheap to free. If you have to pay someone and can't do it yourself, i'de leave it alone. I never changed mine in 15 years but thats only because i knew there was a problem with reverse from the day i bought it and it wasn't worth changing. Reverse finally gave out but the forward gear clutches were still going strong with that old fluid. It was brown but not a really dark brown.
  6. That should be: "Blue had more than 10.16 cm." He's Canadian
  7. Very nice car for its age it looks like it spent some time in ohio. Should go for 12k+ Love the condition of those key and the signal seeker am radio. Edit: Yes, someone here owned it He should have shipped it to japan. 8. This man needs a little sun and surf asap.
  9. ah... its your 30% currency haircut thats getting you. Just wait until oil prices go back up. Those tar sands and your dollar will eventually go back up.
  10. Different set of parts numbers. But i'de bet it fits with little modification to a usa car.
  11. Is that the only difference? if you welded up vent holes on newer quarters you've got the same thing? i've got a jdm fairlady fiche. i will check that number. Edit According to the fairlady fiche they fit the L20 model S30 (Chuki - 10/71-8/75) Eng: L20 So yes, a very old set of quarters.
  12. Lots'o work there. 78100-E4100 is the part #
  13. Ah ha... we flushed a hoarder out of his lair... Lets make a deal.... You had better sell them to me before futofab starts stamping them and their value gets a 50% haircut.
  14. Isn't Alberta only 5% duty tax? Wasn't NAFTA supposed to help?
  15. Yes its the sellers option. I was going through all the international shipping options in my setup and i must have selected it by accident. You know the last 3 people i've sold to are international and they've all had me send their package to freight forwarders in the usa. Lots of people have gotten burned by this and use the forwarders. I think many ebay sellers don't know how to do the customs forms and they put in an inflated value of good and the buyer gets a huge duty tax when he goes to pick it up. I just sent 2 speedometers to Denmark for 40$ shipping using first class usps. I put used, broken, parts only. Technically this fit the description.
  16. 5 more days dec 16. He says these were in a garage. Collecting dust for 30+ years. He doesn't ship international but thats not a problem. There are freight forwarders that can ship international. But this guy says each quarter is 30 kilo's. Whoa, that must be some crate he put it in. Yea the last set of frame rails that sold a couple years ago. I bid on them but they went for a crazy price. 6 or 700 a piece.
  17. The last set of NOS factory nissan quarters left on the planet. http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x428741289 http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x428741293
