		Parts Wanted: 280zx Turbo Distributor

I'm not sure fully sequential is beneficial either. It does place less load on ignition components though. I would probably get a crank trigger and run wasted spark and move on. I would probably only visit fully sequential if I had a problem doing that. Some of the vendors might be able to give you more experienced feedback if you reach out to them. They have a vested interest in your success...

		Parts Wanted: 280zx Turbo Distributor

Yeah, I was wondering if you could use a degree wheel instead of a turbo dizzy. I would expect it to cost $350 or so. $1000 seems high to me but if you've got the only one, then it's supply and demand...

Is my throw out bearing correct?

I think the other face is wider and more round versus the thin edge that touches currently

Is my throw out bearing correct?

How do you know the release bearing is on the right way. If it were reversed it wouldn't be cutting those grooves into the pressure plate fingers. I'm not totally sure it's backwards but if it were reversed it would work the way you expect it to I believe. Also the pressure plate and flywheel look to have been hot at some point. I wouldn't run either of those if it was me. I would surface the flywheel or go to a lighter unit and replace the clutch entirely. It's a lot of work to get there again and the parts aren't crazy expensive.

		I’m Back!

@Av8ferg I'm glad you've gotten good results!! I need to do the same. My wife and I have been working on eating better. We've been trying to avoid processed foods. No more than 5 ingredients and no ingredients we can't pronoune or aren't natural. I have about 5 beers in the fridge. When I finish those I dont expect we'll buy any more. I have been looking at cutting out all added or refined sugars. That will be a challenge for me because its in everything!! Im glad you got through your 1st class physical. Cody visited a part 141 school on Florida this week... I also totally agree with your experience with our medical system. I want a good "mechanic ". A doctor who looks at the machine and goes it shouldn't be doing that. Let's figure out why and correct it. Not here take this pill. It will fix the symptom. That's like your mechanic telling you to turn up the stereo because your car's making a noise!

Jute patterns tunnel & floor mat

The ideal situation would be to use the dwg's and find someone who could plot those for you. They are drawn full size. So they would plot 1:1. I was hoping someone on the forum would have the ability to take the dwgs and export them to full size pdfs. Then you could print them from acrobat and tape them together for a template. I don't have a driver that lets me select large sheet sizes for pdf's. If someone doesn't step up I can try to come up with a work around

I drew these in autocad. I printed them to pdf but they aren't to scale. They really need to be plotted to pdf to scale but I either can't or don't know how to do that. One DWG has a grid that makes it easier to adjust the pattern if necessary. One is without the grid for making pdfs 1971 240z jute patterns wo grid.dwg 1971 240z jute patterns.dwg 1971 jute floor mat.pdf 1971 jute tunnel pt1.pdf 1971 jute tunnel pt2.pdf

The painter who painted Cody's goon would use a straight razor blade. Put a small piece of tape on each end wrapped over the blade. That spaces the blade up the thickness of the tape. He would then scrape runs with the razor blade standing straight up off the paint. You could then scrape them down a little, but not all the way. Let them harden up some before coming back to them.

I would go with an MSA style box if sound matters to you at all. The factory location is pretty poor.
