  1. I don't believe any OE bolts are marked 10.9. Most have numbers on them but not like that
  2. Looks like you got good coverage. Parts with these kind of shapes can be hard to get covered well.
  3. Nope!!!!! The cars didn't kill any body! The driver behind the wheel killed somebody or himself with a car!!!!
  4. On the loud injectors, if an injector was dry would it be louder? It seems like it would be... Maybe partially dry?

That would make more sense, at least to me.
  6. Me too. I would do what CO suggested if I thought there was something that could create a hot spot. Otherwise, run it!

    Is there a difference???
  8. If it was mine, I would clean the rusty ones with brake cleaner and run them. If it doesn't shimmy on braking, the pads will make them nice and shiny soon. If it does, then turn them or replace them as Site said...
  9. I was about to say, I thought this was Thumpgun's stuff
  10. I second...
  11. If the company is an LLC and has little money in the company, you can only sue for the company assets. Which many times is next to nothing... They shutter the company and start up under a new name. Happens every day.
  12. Unfortunately we will all be pushed towards self driving cars at some point. The insurance rates will be set up to penalize those of us that still like to "drive" our cars. It's really hard to program for every contingency. How many more will have to die or get hurt before it gets close to "good"?
  13. "Round tops" refers to the earlier 240z SU carbs. Many people convert "flat tops" to "round tops". Some would argue the flat tops can be made to perform. Although they are more complicated... Look at Ztherapy's website...
  14. You mean you're not supposed to store car parts in your home?????? Don't tell my wife that!
  15. Excellent results!!! What do you think you have invested in the completed cabinet and beads?

I don't know, does page 5 apply to sss type carbs? The floats in Cody's carbs are loose from the tab mechanism. We are trying to get his car running again...

@240260280 Blue, I know you posted the float bowl needle dimensions for these carbs somewhere recently but I can't find it...
  18. Good info, much easier to fabricate too. @kats That is excellent info and the pictures are outstanding!
  19. I would suspect the idle hanging up
  20. I wondered if a seal issue is the reason too. If it is, you could add less oil so the bottom of the strut couldn't bond itself to the tube but the oil level would never get near the top strut seals
  21. You need to find a good body shop that will work on older cars. Many only want to do late model collision work. Hopefully one that works on import cars too, if you can find one. Once you find that, get an estimate. You will be money ahead to pull the drive train for them. Also there are factory dimensions for the cars in pdf format that might be helpful
  22. Gotta hate that on the cluster! Yellow bird. I remember when the car was new. What a beast! Good color... Whoever did the valve cover has good metal skills!
  23. Or he could mail me the modified one and I could plate it for him...
