  1. I watched a guy buff a windshield with Meguiars "Mirror glaze" it worked pretty good. He had a large rotary buffing machine. As I get older the other window crank gets further and further away. Same with the heated seats. My bad back likes the heat even when I drive to Texas and the AcCis on in the car. Occupational hazard I guess...
  2. Jim, Thanks for that. I was wondering about the exactness of these sets and how to source them.
  3. Depends which side of the 4 footer you are on...
  4. What welder were you using?
  5. Matt, What welder are you using? Did you build the exhaust yourself or did someone else weld it up?
  6. I wouldn't try to remove the sludge, but that's me. If you dislodge some of it could cause issues.
  7. Doesn't the intake have to be open somehow? On carbureted carbs I believe you hold the throttle open so the butterflies don't restrict the intake of air.
  8. Work is highly overrated but I do like to eat

Very pretty car R200, cv axles, tower braces. Very nicely done but that is a lot of money for a Z car. My dizeaze my eventually pay for itself or at least break even...
  10. My brother is in Charlotte and I am only an hour or so away. If you need something let me know, I have lot of parts and pieces
  11. Where in the Carolinas?
  12. I still love the red, don't care how many blocks end up that color. A wire wheel probably rated for 6000 rpm on a 10,000 rpm grinder will do that to you. As long as no one lost an eye its all good. I have the same wide band and it seems to work pretty good, except I need a new o2 sensor
  13. Relay upgrades for headlights and parking lights. Brakes 100% good then suspension and struts. Coil overs are fine if you need the clearance but plenty of guys just run good struts and Eibachs. Then engine cooling but you probably already got that covered. Then interior comfort, AC, stereo, power windows maybe, seats, seat heaters????

You know in the end the automatics may end up being more marketable and possibly valuable than the stick cars. These days fewer and fewer people can drive a straight drive. Even the truckers are starting to get automatic rigs. Another 15 years and there will be many fewer manuals on the road, at least in the US. The future investor is gonna want a car that they feel comfortable driving.
  16. Where did you source your jet drills?
  17. How would straighten it? Shave it flat or some other method?
  18. Glad you found another head. I hate it that the first one was bad. It was good they took care of you. The crank has some markings on it below the bearing journal that looks like old rust pitting even though they are not black.
  19. That car is in exceptional shape and seems to have very low mileage. In some ways I am surprised it didn't bring more
  20. I couldn't figure out how much a complete tub would cost...
  21. Don't know on the color but I like the wheels and love the bullet mirrors. I am gonna use the same mirrors...
