Where are the MSA pix?????
Some of that is my fault. I wasn't able to go to the show this year... I am bummed. But, it just wasn't possible. If anyone has a ton of pictures, send them to me on CD and I'll post them in bulk.... I am planning on going to the national convention... Let me know... send me a PM and I'll give you my address. -- Mike

Stinking theives!
Is it legal to shoot punks when you catch them in the act? I always wonder what I'd do if I caught someone stealing my stuff when I'm packing my pistola... I realize that it's legal to shoot someone inside your house, but, damn if I know what's legal out in the yard. At least you could take that crowbar to a few kneecaps.

No Discount at Courtesy Nissan
Don't do business with Courtesy. Go to Midwest Z... and, if Chloe doesn't have it, go to Motorsport Auto. I know these people personally and they have done good jobs for most people I know. You can also check out Classic Datsun because they were selected, by Nissan, as one of the professional restoration shops during their "Z Store" project. Anyway.....

No Discount at Courtesy Nissan
The FSM CD's sold by Courtesy (and made by Z Creations) is not legal. They have created a business opportunity w/out a copyright release from Nissan. I know this because Z Creations contacted me about going into business together. We worked up a deal to use the copyright release for our club. When it came to the end, they undercut me and decided to proceed on their own. Nonetheless, they have decided to sell CD's separately for a pretty big profit. Not to mention, Courtesy also has a poorly designed microfiche CD to boot (yes, without a copyright release either). I got ahold of my contact at Nissan and he told me that neither of these companies have the right to sell these products. We are the only club that has managed to 'score' a copyright release on this stuff. Anyway, I am planning to put together a new CD soon that will have microfiche, manuals, and other goodies of information to help support the club. Unlike the poor quality products sold by these outfits (anyone purchase a microfiche CD from Courtesy ? I did and it's terrible compared to ours), the products we produce will be put together professionally. -- Mike

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
Many of you stated that it's almost impossible to work on a new 350z and you prefer to work on the 240z much more. However, I have a question, Why would you need to work on a 350z ? For $27k, it's a lot more fun to drive than a Toyota Camry! And, there is no reason to even crack the hood open. I do appreciate my 240z (even more if it was running), so don't get me wrong. I simply think that the 350z is amazing.

Hello all, new to website
Better than cold fuzzies.... Hell, a warm prickly is not bad either. Just got to be careful because they can cause skin rash.

Hello all, new to website
Hi Jeanette, Congrats on the Zcar!! You'll find a lot of Zcar fanatics all around the world. Check out a few of our web-links by clicking on the "Links" tab if you want to find out more information about your car. You can also check out Zcar shows around the US (and the world) from our events section on the main page. Thanks for jumping in and introducing yourself! If you ever have questions about your car, you can feel free to post a message and I'm sure someone around here can help lead you to the right source of information. Our primary focus here is the classic Z (70-79) but there are a lot of people who have been in the Z communities for a long time and can help you find answers (if that time comes). -- Mike

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
I don't have the word ALL in my statement. Most of the guys that say they want the G35 want the ability to haul around their families. It's not worth it to me. I'm not really talking about the guys away from this site. They are not in this discussion. I am speaking to all of you. I just don't see how you can form an opinion about something until you've experienced the whole car (unless, of course, you are creating an opinion on appearances or specifications). I'm serious when I say the car behaves like the old 240. It's ok, I'm not trying to get all of you go rush out and buy one. I just wanted to express my opinions. Besides, is it really possible to create a classic anymore? Seems to me that car manufacturers cannot do it so they are reaching back and remaking the classics.

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
Most of the opinions I have heard from you guys are either based on looks or inexperience with the new 350z. And, the guys that respect the car have driven it. Go take one on a test drive (base model or track model) and then come back and give us some facts. I've seen and read some good information about the design and thought that went into the car. It's far from the heavy underpowered 300zx. There's nothing ZX about it.

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
You guys really sound like a bunch of old men talking about one of them "new fangled things" that you just don't understand. The 350z is an amazing car that really can't be touched by anything else at $27,000. I agree, however, that the $47,000 roadster is just a big heavy toad. But, you guys should really drive the base model if you're looking to make an opinion. I got the chance to drive a base-model and absolutely loved it. The car has all the old sounds that my '71 used to have. It might be something about the rear-wheel drive, but, it's just sweet. The car handled like it was on rails and it was able to cross the railroad tracks without making me feel like I was bounced all over the place. I don't know how all of the other models handle, but, it seems to me that all the extra junk only makes it an expensive car. The base model is a very good value at $27k and I don't think there is anything else that can touch it. Next time you want push your opinion about it, make sure you take the car out on a drive first. Specs are one thing, but, driving is a whole different experience. Don't get me wrong, I love my '71 and the feeling it gives. It's a rumbly, loose, metallic classic car....... The 350z takes that feeling to the next level with todays technology (and not all of that rumbly, loose, metallic stuff).

Racoon Killer
If that's the worst thing you can do, I'd hate to see the best thing you can do... Try NOT to avoid? Or is that one of those phrases like "Wrong place at the wrong time?" That one really gets me.

The raccoon must have been in a ZX.

auto-active Z cars site
Actually, we do put an overlay on all pictures. But, the overlay (watermark) is only visible if someone uploads it to our website. The picture you see above is actually located on someone else's site and he added it to the message. It's called 'leeching' but not a big deal as long as there isn't too much of it.... (can bog down a connection).

Irl Vs Nascar
Actually, I believe there are more racers that would do it for the love than you really think. Take a look at Stewart and Earnhardt Jr.... I frequently see these guys racing in other divisions. They certainly don't need the money.

Irl Vs Nascar
No, certainly not immune to 'human' behavior. But, one of your examples was from the 80's. That's a long time ago and it leads me to believe the frequency is a lot less when compared to the NBA. Every week I hear about something new happening with them... Of course I should realize that we have a lot more NBA / NFL teams and players when compared to racing. So, maybe it is an unfair comparison. Oh well, we all have our opinions.

Irl Vs Nascar
Agreed, the people we place on pedestals is amazing. But, Nascar is certainly a lot better than other sports. Just look at basketball. These guys are roaming around our cities smoking pot, racing their Mercedes', flashing their "bling-bling", raping innocent college girls, and living the high-life. For me, I absolutely *DISPISE* basketball, football, and general sports figures (and even other kinds of stars) who act like this. When was the last time you saw a famous basketball star on the news for some kind of infraction like this? And, how many kids look up to these idiots as role-models? Most of the Nascar drivers I've seen (so far) are family oriented and put out a good name for themselves and the sport. You can't be a drug-addict and drive a car 200mph. But, you can certainly be a drug-addict and dribble a basketball. -- Mike

Irl Vs Nascar
That's pretty damn funny... Don't worry about it Carl, just read the joke... "Nascar fans shake their fists"... I love both ... racing is just awesome!
