Oh christ...this is shocking...I haven't been on for a few days and look what happens! I know now after reading the posts that you are getting better, but I know just how you feel as I have been in a motorbike accident, and my brother shattered his spine riding off a 40ft cliff on one into a rock quarry! Fstr240z, take care and know that my thoughts and well wishes go out to you in hoping that you have a speedy recovery. Its not easy, it is painful and you HAVE to take good time out to heal physically and mentally if needed. Its definitely something that won't heal immediately...heres hoping your bed is comfy, the nurses are good and the food comes from your family and not the hospital (no matter angle you look at it from, you still want Burger King!)...come back to us soon! Z-point...I know that they aren't all your car...you can tell cause they all have differences....what I meant was, you must have been cold whilst taking the pics...or didn't you take them? And I just thought I left a tissue in the wash! Fascinating, yes... Oh..and the r31 GTS actually has an RB30e (no turbo!) with a couple of small mods to make it produce more power..about 130kw if I remember correctly...they added a stainless steel exhaust and modded the cam a little to lift the power about 15%, so it goes really well!! It also had 16' wheels fitted standard...rare in thos days!!! Cheers ppl!

I saw this a while ago...I couldn't believe it was all so real, I wanted to know how those tyres went up hill, and when I found out I was gobsmacked...so easy, yet so clever! Really clever idea, with mindnumbingly long, painful breaks inbetween takes so that they could set it all up again! Enogh to drive you up the wall! Cheers ppl!

I for the most agree with bambi, but my personal preference is the 260z...upgrade on the 240 and thought the 240 was faster, the 260 was safer (thicker steel), it didn't get too GT'ed up, the smog add ons were there but didn't absolutely choke the car, and I believe that it is a nicer mix of car for the driver. Flame as you may, the 240 is still the factory fastest, but I just like the 260 most! Not very GT at all, and safer to boot! And the 2+2 can carry a couple of gerbils in the back for you, or if you're lucky an actual person!*L* Cheers ppl!

Whilst being the first to admit that the L series is not the fastest engine in the world, its f@#$en tough! It'll run forever and then some! But in saying that, it can still make lots o' power! You can make about 230hp out of it using the stock carbs (albeit rejetted), just port and polish the head, get a lumpier cam (be sure to get correct specs, and replace the lash pads!), topend rebuild with 3 angle cut valves, 6-2-1 header/exhaust (I find 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" is the best), elec dizzy with a new non-ballast resistor coil (if u don't already have it) and get it tuned to run PULP...then give it a burl! The only 'unoriginal' look that the car will have is the exhaust (you can paint the coil, and the dizzy won't look any different really at all), all the mods are easily reversed and voila! You can get it bored out to run 280 pistons, but that would be 'too unoriginal'. So there! Either that or you can tell your mates to get stuffed, and take em round some bends, see who owns who then!!!:classic: Love the Zed! Cheers ppl!

I know a bit, but not heaps..so correct me if I'm wrong... Back in the good ol' days, 1-pak acrylic was the way...nothing wrong with it don't get me wrong but it tended to dull quick, took alot of regular buffing to keep really shiny and was fairly susceptible to chemicals (ie Its strips easy!)...Then 2-pak came out..brilliant stuff!! Goes on thick, covers brill, glossy straight after painting (no cutting or buffing req.) and is very resistant to chemicals (read...bastard to strip!)..a baking oven is also alot better for 2-pak, though not necessary)...2-pak is also longer lasting, easier to keep shiny and clean and is even more resistant to scratches (with clear)...downside is costs more, but then...no price is too high!:classic: Hope that help a little without going into specifics!
