Great! Now go have some fun!
  6. Chill, Michael420. Read the note from Sblake01 and take heed.
  7. Oh, Crap. Why didn't I think of that??? ;-)
  8. Sounds like your battery failed, and if not tied down, slid over and shorted the POS terminal to sheet metal.

  10. Contact Ralph Reber.... the zconnexion on ebay. He may have what you need.....

Keep your eyes peeled for any info and let us know what surfaces... Thanks!
  13. Hmmm. That isn't the Troy I know. I've always been treated with respect and promptness by him. He did go through a period shortly after his wife passed away that may have had an influence on his psyche. FWIW

  16. I love it!
  17. I had a mechanical temp gauge for a long time. 185 on the mechanical translates to 1 needle-width past center on the original stock gauge.....
  18. If you've got an external coolant leak, re-torquing will not help. Bite the bullet....
  19. I'd be glad to take a peek at it with you. Frank
  20. I wasn't necessarily referring to cars for sale, but poorly related a comment about junk-yard s30s' availability. There are NONE here in the Houston area. NONE!
  21. The screws that keep the dizzy from turning.....
  22. A couple of things: 1) You didn't mention if you dropped and cleaned the gas tank. If you didn't do that, now is the time. Old gas can contaminate new gas and cause problems like you've described. 2) The coolant leak is likely from a failed water pump. Often, those pumps will fail after being "put up" for a few years. It's common, but aggravating. Frank
  23. Something's loose. Cars just don't behave that way. Check your locking screws on the distributor to start with. Check your centrifugal weights for freedom of movement. Just two places to start.....
