  1. Welcome, your now truly a member ;-) . No no no but truly I feel fo you. Go for a full cap if you do. Got one on mine which I mistook for uncracked dash but pod gauges don't look mounted as nice or flush nor the rest of the dash. Still nicer than a thousand cracks . You'd be much happier getting your small fracture mended though by Just Dashes IMO.
  2. I agree with their prices. Check EVERYTHING. Check the frame VERY VERY CAREFULLY for rust, take your time, and entire undercarriage. Use a fridge magnet for the body but remember if it don't stick it's either Bondo or Primer from the repaint. Rev the engine with your hand from the engine bay noticing the response but don't redline it! On the test drive power down shift and to see if all is well with the clutch with no slipping. Listen to the engines in all rev ranges.
  3. Ask fore buying, a few things from the Zstore are not as pictured or OEM. If shipping is a issue ask a member you just and we'll mail them to you. From my online auto parts store I ship stuff internationally all the time arriving safely, so i don't see it a problem for other shops.
  4. SURRRRRE, YOU Wanna take 4 cc's of Nissan, 8 cc's of Datsun, 1 Mr. K, 14 gallons of 94 octane and call your keys in the morning ~Z~
  5. Or try the other usual places for OEM stuff like Courtesy Nissan.
  6. Potential resident shout out, I might be moving to Houston in January . If so i look forward!
  7. Welcome home man Happy to see another Cali member here. Any pics of the Crown Jewel. ~Z~

The newer Z's are cool, if done right . I take it theres a big import scene down in Santa Fe Springs?
  9. What about the comfort quality? My 77 seats are a bit tattered and some foam splits but are the most comfortable car seats I ever sat in. So Nice and soft you can sleep in them . Hate to replace them and end up with rock hard seats like in most of these new cars these days.
  10. Vin is also the production number sequentialy. Not necessarialy coming off the line in that way but still they are numbered in order.
  11. Hi Tex Must be really nice to have an extra set of SIX hands for the fut stuff. Which Z you get? To a lesser mentioned extent besides pics we need build dates and vin numbers.
  12. Radiator Overflow bucket spoken for.
  13. I got the new in box MSA white Radiator over flow bucket with brackets and return hose for 240Z, just pay for shipping.
  14. I think I know the site your reffering to, the "Abarth" one with the black and white photos? I found out that collection of parts went to Austrailia and I think there might be some SuperSprints in it, not sure but I put a word in to find out. Not looking to make a buck cause shipping is alot from Austrailia having already sent a Datsun ANSA resonator there myself. Give me a call at 530-701-1244 if you need to give more details or whatever specific if you like. Will let you know ASAP when I find out whats what ~Z~
  15. I can account for #1678, that leaves 470.6 left to go . Seriously though I figured the number closer to a thousand, it was a pretty popular car for one to hold on to.
  16. The lastest Vic Brit catalog only listed calipers for 240 and 260z so i thought they were different, MSA clossed and my cell phone internet couldn't log onto hybridz at the time . Most the searce results here had to do with Maxima coversions. Yeah, I kinda knew though I'd here it though for that one
  17. Hello, will 280z calipers fit 240z? I can't find the answer and a fellow wants to buy my new OEM set for his Z.
  18. Yep ! Being one of the resident ANSA fanatics I definately wanna see some pics . Seen some Marmitte collectibles like auto garage clocks and the Ansa logos and race stickers I have but never knew Marmitte itself was a brand. Where you looking for the resonators? If you looking for vintage check out my 'Twin Stacks' thread or any other Ansa one I started, lots of styles many of which came in the 1-3/4 your looking for . ~Z~
  19. I think the Z31 looks sic, wedge shaped aerodynamics like a baby brother Z32 . The S130 though, while having cosmetic potential painted the right colors, i can live without. However also owning a 1983 BMW 320i I can also say on a rainy day, on a S curve, when you clutch kick it handles like a Z. Shut my mouth !

Ah dude, welcome to the club ! thats whats happening to me. Completly rebuilt my 77 280Z engine and now bad water temp sensor and or mal adjusted TPS switch got her running rich too. Was it running rich befor the head job with same semptoms and spark plug condition?
  21. Wish you luck brother, seems like your starting over in extent.
  22. Welcome to the club. Interesting mix of styles, think your only member i know with a Ferrari body. Was it something you wanted and made or happened to buy?
  23. ArizonaZcar.com for high end suspension and brake parts. Custome made for road racing and street applicitions. My bad i meant STP but then looking at the can, knowing that i'm wrong, it says WD-40 ! STP, thats motor oil !
  24. Thyanx Bonzi i'll give that a try. By the way, if you use WD-40 on all the linkage and hinges of the throttle you'll eliminate the horrible squeeking you hear when you hit the has peddle. Also it feels smother and easier too. Use the same on all your hood hinges, you'll be suprised at how smooth and easily it raises up ~Z~
  25. Don't forget Craigslist. I too own a 77 with a worn a throttle boot from fire wall to linkage. How do you unattach the ceramic, plastic, ball joints without breaking them to slide the rubber boot off?
