  2. Any strut bar makes a difference, the Cusco looks great as well. When I restored my '70 I also put in MSA's beefier front AND REAR sway bars. Working with the strut bar, the car tracks much tighter, it is a noticiable improvement. Those strut towers really flex with the 240's thin sheet metal. The 240Z did not come with a rear sway bar, although the '73s had the brackets for them. If you like to drive enthusiastically, I highly recommend the sway and strut bars.
  3. Thanks! I've since swapper the MSA strut bar pictured with a Cusco, looks much better.
  4. Not stock but looks awesome. And I do believe that black will dissipate heat a bit faster. Here's my 1970 #3833.
  5. One week away! LotZ of classic Z vintage race cars on display! HLS30-0006 (Toronto Auto Show model dented car, BSR #38), 1975 BSR #33 240Z (Posey GTU champ), 1968 BRE 510, HLS30-00013 (first Z available to the public), HLS30-00008 (Jan '70 Road & Track cover car, Speakman Daytona car) AND MORE. The three oldest known North American 240Zs in existence, in one place at the same time. When will you get another chance to see that? http://www.zccr.net/main/Uploaded/2012HIDRegistration.pdf http://www.zccr.net/main/Uploaded/AICSweb_poster.jpg
  6. The heater box assembly itself is the same '70-'73. If your heater core is bad, a radiator shop can repair it. In fact, have it refreshed NOW while the box is out of the car! I have a complete heater box assembly from a '73. Email me: jrt3833@hotmail.com if interested.
  7. I'm looking for the plastic seat recliner covers for a 1977/78 280Z, NOT the earlier flimsy covers from 1972-76 cars. No cracks or damage. Need the driver side but will take both. Please respond to jrt3833@hotmail.com . Thanks.

  10. That's not a beige interior, it's dirty white. Nissan didn't offer a beige interior on the 240Z. From everything I see, it's a 131,000 mile car all day long. But it still seems to be fairly solid for the asking price in SoCal, it would be more in the northeast. Good Luck!
  11. Our worst nightmare. I thank the stars that you survived. Your Z gave it's life for you. Now, go get another!
  12. I am in need of the lower steering column for a 240Z, the part with the u-joint that attaches to the rack. U-joint must be TIGHT, no slop or excessive play. Please reply to jrt3833@hotmail.com. Thanks.
