I am going with a Crysler metalic dark blue...... I don't even want to think about the bondo from body shop number one (two years and too much money). I ground most of that off.... The last coat of primer actually has some gloss to it.... So I see if the body is straight... Could be better but is plenty good. Not just a Z - zdisease

The S30 is a simple car.... Why add struf that could get zapped... Not just a z - zdisease

So back to the original idea.... Car won't run 1. Take the starter out and play with it..... Jump it from the battery - Secure the starter good before jumping 2. Try hot wiring the car from the battery - Trash the button thing Sounds electrical.... Not just a Z - zdisease

Check the floats for proper setting as well. A 1/2 inch drill should serve as a good gauge for float level. No just a Z - zdisease As of yesterday the 240Z is in primer.

On the Hatch Sill rust.... I beleive the ral issue is the design of the sill. In my 72 240Z the hatach sill had two layers of metal that were poorly seam sealed. This factory error let rust form in between the two layers of metal. I ended up: 1. removing the top layer 2. Clean etch and POR coat the bottom layer 3. Weld back on the top layer and POR it too 4. Primer 5. Paint zdisease - Not just a Z

My plan is to hook up Sirius/XM and leave it at that. Maybe in the future I'll add an iphone interface but I doubt it.... Satellite radio works everywhere except in tunnels. zdisease Primer this weekend ?

I have a 6 into 1 header from Arizona Z with a monza exhaust system on my 72 240Z L24. I really like the sound of it so far.... My claim to fame is.... After 3 years of restoration I finally got the 72 240 out on the road sans windshield... 40 mph and 30 mile an hour head wind made it a bit breezy... My trailer options fell through and I wanted to get the Z to the body shop for undercoating. With any luck the Z will be really on the road this summer. Jay Not just a Z - zdisease
