Atmospheric Supercharging???
Ever heard of "Atmospheric Supercharging"? Well, this guy claimed he had discovered the secret of success of BRE's triumph with 240Z, Atmospheric Supercharging. Is there really such a thing? Have you ever heard of it in any form or shape? Atmospheric Supercharging -Guycali

Correct Z tire size
Is that a "work area" underneath your car? Geez, I'd would think it takes you at least 5 min to properly align your car straight before pulling into the garage. Did it cost an arm and a leg to have that setup in the garage?

15" VS 16" rims on the 240
So is 16" the largest rim size we can put on a 240Z? Darn, and I was thinking of putting on either 17" or 18" rims (given that I convert it to use 5-lug hubs). Will the tires rub even with addition of IMSA fender or other wide body kits? As far as larger wheels weighing more... yes it's true but some weighs even less than smaller diameter rims. For instance, SSR Competition weighs 14.5lbs for a 18x8. Of course, that comes with a hefty price of $450ea. Do you think 18" rims are too big for a small car like 240Z? With wide fenders? Maybe... Too bad tirerack.com doesn't have a dynamic wheel selector for the 240Z. -Guycali

L28 NA vs. Turbo Intake Manifold
Hi, Does anyone know if there's a difference between a NA and a Turbo Intake Manifold on the L28 engine? Which one is better suited for Turbo application (I assume turbo intake for turbo car but...). I think the NA manifold has an extra cold start injector. What does it do? BTW, know what "WOT" stands for? Oh and also, how much should I expect to pay for an intake manifold, NA or Turbo, in a good to decent shape? Thanks, -Guycali

White face gauges
Does anyone know if it's illegal to swap out oem speedometer with aftermarket ones such as AutoMeter due to odometer record? If it's possible to match the odometer reading from the old to the new, will that be ok? Thanks. -Guycali

Should users log-in to read forums?
I'd say let everyone have right to browse and read posts. However, if they want to use the search function, reply/create a post, or any other functions, then they need to be logged in. Personally, I don't like to be a member of something and later find that I don't like it as much and stop using it. -Guycali

Paint and body work...
Thanks guys for the great detailed info. I've always had questions about the procedure in restoring a Z from the bottom up. After a Z is completely strip off of paint and rust to bare metal and applied expoxy primer, what's next in terms of restoration procedure? Here's what needs to be done. 1. Rebuild/modified engine. 2. Swap transmission and differential. 3. Rebuild/customize suspensions. 4. Attach fender flares or body kits. 5. Install roll bar/cage. So when does painting the Z come into play here? Should the interior and engine bay be painted first after the expoxy primer or leave everything unpainted until all components are ready to be installed? If I want to rustproof the undercarriage with some kind of "tar" or the likes, should I do it immediately following the expoxy primer? What is the procedure you'd mostly take on given the above works required? Thanks in advance. -Guycali

Turbo Design Calculator
Here's an useful turbo design calculator written in MS Excel. Corky Bell's Maximum Boost or Hugh MacInnes' Turbochargers is a must read to design a turbo system properly. NOTE: Just rename the file from .zip to .xls. -Guycali turbocalc.zip
