  1. While I highly recommend Dave's product, it is not plug and play for the 260Z/280Z. Unless the OP has extra connectors available to send Dave, he's about just as well off with a DIY setup.

Been a while since I've given any update but progress is updated regularly here if you want to check anything out. I decided to go with an auxiliary fuse box and am really thrilled with how easy it is and how simple it will be to add anything from this point forward : https://www.instagram.com/allaboutthez/ Here's the latest! Wipers, dome light, map light, horn, antenna, radio, (and a clock shortly) are all working! Going to swap the engine in a couple weeks.

  4. Blue, you deserve to take a break man... but we will certainly miss you here. You have some great experience with the Z and we enjoy everything that you do on this site. Speaking of that, I am not sure why I haven't done this already, but, since you've been helping out so much I am going to add you to the supporting member group. By doing this, ads should disappear (except maybe the banner on the left). Supporting members won't be shown ads. There are two ways to support the site, one by helping us pay the bills, or second by putting in time to help out. You've certainly helped out a tremendous amount around here. Hope this helps offset some of your frustrations with "the internet" .. FYI, whenever I get to the same point where you are at with technology, I like to disconnect and go sit on a beach somewhere with a drink of choice. m PS: Thanks for recognizing this site hasn't "sold out" as so many others have over the years. I would totally remove ads from the site if there was another way to pay for the costs associated with running it and all the time I put in. If any of you have ideas, I am all ears...
  5. I keep coming back around full circle that a 280Z strut may be installed on the side that is low. If you were to put 240Z springs on a 280Z strut, I think that is exactly how it would sit. Measure the length of both struts to see if same length. That will help get past that possibility.

If you can give a detailed description of what you don't like about your ride & what you did like about the other, I think the members can give you a lot of ideas that can improve your ride & everyone has an opinion or experience they want to share. There are many combinations of springs, shocks & sway bars & they are bolt-in.
