Wanted: 70-72 Rear Bumper Center Piece, and Overrider Bar

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a good condition OE rear bumper center piece from a 70-72 240z? Doesn’t have to have perfect chrome. Mainly looking for one without dings and rust. Or I’m open to a complete original rear bumper for a 70-72 240z.

also trying to find a good condition rear bumper overrider bar.

Although I will say, the new ones are almost all stainless. Not chrome. I have stainless and they seem to scratch pretty easily. Where as the chrome is very hard and durable and is much easier to get a mirror shine on it

I think I had a decent one ….$50

Stock holes….. for non Gnose car that is.

Plus shipping from 28043 North Carolina…

No idea where your from.. but i got 7! bumpers.. chrome original in the Netherlands .. even one with the towel bars on the rear!! chrome not perfect not to bad only a little rust on the inside..

I believe I have a rear bumper over rider bar that is in good condition. I can get some pics if you want.

For the bumper, what is the month of manufacturer of our car?

Here are some pics. This has been stored inside for the last 30+ years. I epoxy primed and painted it black way back then, but never installed it on my car. The two mounting points at the center of the bumper have different thread sizes, but the threads are in good shape!

What catched my eye.. in the instruction manual it says drill the holes but nowhere is mentioned to do some anti rust into these holes you just drilled in your beautiful chrome bumper.. Overhere in europe it will start to rust within weeks..

Nice chrome btw.. (Chrome is always so difficult to photograph..)
