electronic ignition...  NO mark on cap..  wires were all backwards with 1 at fire wall...   no clue why

what do i do here???

Leave the wires on the spark plugs.  Disconnect all of the wires from the distributor cap.  Reconnect the wires to the cap as shown in w3wilkes post #2.

Put the rotor back on and make sure it points to #1 when the ignition timing mark is between zero and 10 degrees.

there is NO mark on the cap... how do i find the first spot with a mark on the cap??

can  you not tell me by looking at the top of the cap??

Where the rotor points is #1.

Maybe someone put your motor in the car backwards it happens all the time… 😆
