Forces me to have my foot in it a lot.I have a '22 Frontier Crew Cab that I thought was way too aggressive on it's shifting, especially at freeway speeds using cruise control with plenty of hills and valleys (I-15 from Ogden, UT to St George, UT, about 350 Miles, open road about 225 miles with speed limit 80MPH, the rest is 70MPH). Nissan did a reprogram of the transmission control unit and it's a night and day difference! And I really appreciate that Nissan did a 3.8L V6 N/A engine. 16 hours ago16 hr comment_676978 I've driven the 240Z down to St George a couple of times for their Easter car show. I'd really like to find a wide ratio 5 speed. I thought the '78 280z had a 5 speed that 1 through 4 was the same as my 4 speed and the 5th gear was like overdrive. 10 hours ago10 hr comment_676979 My '77 has that wide B like you're talking about and I got one out of a '79 2+2 that I put in my '72 and am really happy with it. Never use 5th around here but it's a game changer on the interstate roads.
