For a 1978 280z

Like title says.. are these OEM? I had one snap off and need to replace. I can't seem to find these anywhere. The ones that MSA or others sell are black and have a Z logo on them.

Mine are a "T" shape plastic. More like a bugle I guess?

They are OE too.

That's all I can find online. That's why I am unsure if mine are OEM...

Yes, that's what mine look like.  Hope that helps.

The kind in the poster's picture look like the capless smooth sided replacements folks buy as a theft deterrent.  Can't hook the "mushroom" top to pull up with a wire from the outside like you can with stock

Aftermarket from the 70s or 80, made by Cal customs (according to my recollection) super handy for burning your fingers on a 100F degree day.

Awesome, thanks guys. I kind of like the chrome-ish look over the black, so I think I will try to find something similar.

I assume the process to replace them is pretty simple/obvious? Do I have to take off the entire inner door panel?

And gouging yourself in the event of a crash.  They are not Federal crash standard compliant and not original.  The black plastic, mushroom topped ones are original.  They screw onto a threaded rod.
