New garage

Featured Replies

My new house comes with a glorious garage. Now I have space to really drive the Mrs. crazy. IMG_20170924_195041.jpeg

Congrats! A bigger garage definitely makes work easier... The trick is gradually turning it into a shop so the wife doesn't see the transformation from a "garage" to a "shop" overnight... Good Luck!

Congrats!  Looks like a nice big space.  Seems tall enough to put a lift in too.   How many cars can you fit in there?

That is the dream I hope to realize in the next couple of years.

Thanks. I can put 3 cars. (2 ZX'S and a 3rd gen Camry). I've been toying with the idea of getting one of those Chinese lifts for $2k, but I'm not sure if I trust them. A local guy that runs a shop has one, and he says he hasn't had any trouble with it. He let me do the exhaust on the blue car on it. For now I'll be pulling the engine/transmission out of the red one. Its a bit of a basket case besides the drivetrain.

IMG_20171021_150112.jpegits too late to hide the transformation from garage to shop. Looks like the Camry sleeps outside.
