Here in Europe... we never heard about a charcoal canister! As far as i know there are no euro versions with a charcoal canister. I don't have fuel smell .. (Also that can over the fuel tank is not there on a euro version.)

Do you have a FSM for the euro 280? It would be interesting to see how they handled the fuel venting.

What about earlier S30 models? The S130 has the fuel sending unit on top with the vent, the 280 has it on the side like the 240. I am curious to see how Eurodat's 260 manual plumbs the system.

Unfortunatly I don't have that section. Only have sections of the engine, cooling system, transmission and suspension.

I think you can workout the principle function from Mart's diagram. I know a guy in my village who is restoring an american import 280ZX, but I think he has an european rust bucket he is driving around.
