Can't tell you a brand but it looks like the flange isn't too thick for our cars. It needs to be the same thickness as the intake manifold so the yokes and bolts fit the same. Thinner flange would be more likely to warp or leak from all I've read.

If it's not about half an inch thick where you bolt it to the head you'll have to figure out how to make up the difference. MSA has it down pat. A good ceramic coated header is under $300 plus free shipping.  They have cheaper unpainted ones also. My opinion only, do what you want but I have them on both my Zs and couldn't be happier. 

oh believe me I'm going to use the MSA stuff, just saw this manifold and it looks custom built. thought it was some type of vintage race manifold design from years back

MSA for exhaust is the way to go IMHO. Like said above, they've got it down.

+1 on the MSA ceramic coated header and 2.5" exhaust pkg..  This is the 6-1 on my L-24.

I have those headers, too. They are quite popular.

Custom built, but don't appear to be equal length tubes. I agree on the MSA header. I have them on both my Z's.
