Can anyone tell me where these wires go from the dash to the front of the car? The plug connects on the passenger side under the dash. The red blue wire is cut. One is empty. On the connector under the dash the plug has red/blue, red/yellow. red, and green. The red wires go to the headlights I believe. Where do the other ones go?

RY - Headlight (Left)

RL - Inspection Lamp

GL - Front running lights (missing from plug)

R - Headlight (Right)

I remember the color code as blue orange green brown slate

White red black yellow violet. That's on cat 5 wire which I'm sure has nothing to do with automotive wiring.

What do you mean by running lights? I know what they do, but is it on a 71, just high or low beams? I have head lights with the small bulbs inside. Is that what you can wire the green/blue wire to? Thank you

Running lights are the what I call parking lights, in between OFF and HEADLIGHTS on the right side stalk switch.  Everything but the headlights come on.  Are your side marker lights working?

 

Here they are inside the switch on the right side stalk.
