Frustrating performance.

On Rockauto, there is a couple condensor's listed as for dual points cars (The automatics). As long as you ordered the primary condenser (Which is the same as the manual transmission confessor), you should be good to go. Check the rating on the condenser to be 100% sure. I'm sure someone on here should be able to help you out. I believe .20-.25 is correct.

I bought it at Napa, it was the only one they had. If the dual points are for the autos, then its probably the wrong one.. ugh. I'll see if it has the rating on it somewhere.

I've been told my car sounds like a lawn mower at idle.

Amazon.com: Cardone 31-619 Remanufactured Import Distributor: Automotive

Is this the one your talking about? I'd assume i'd still need the mounting base from a 280zx.

No it doesn't come with the base but they did send me a good one D6K8-05, 47 degrees total advance. I have the base from a junk yard car.

OR you can buy what's behind door 3--

I'm selling a complete set with base and coil, module, cap, wires, extra module, harness,,,,,,

I've got $180 in the dizzy and coil alone, no cap or button. $30 for the junkyard e12-80 that I did get a base and hopefully a good module if I ever need it. The distributor was all rusted up inside so I spent $100 for the reman. $43 for the coil. Few bucks on gas to the junk yard. I'll spend another $50 to $75 on the cap and button plus wires and ZX plugs. $250 by the time I'm done, HOPEFULLY.

If your points have worn that quickly, you probably should replace the condensers.

Some immitation brand points me be crap and wear out quicker...
