Threshold plates

Featured Replies

Hi, I just wanted to show everyone my newest find. My good friend Roger Williams had these stored away for years, and was kind enough to let me have them for my 72 240 that I am currently restoring. Thats a good friend for sure!

Yes, he does, but he said they belonged on my car anyway. Like i said, he is a great friend.

Not that I would pay this amount, but I have seen a set sell for $500.00.

Thanks. I'll hold on to the two sets I have for a few more years.

How are you going to shine them up? there's a lot of grooves on those.

They are actually very shinny, the picture does not do them justice.

If they weren't a soft buffing wheel would make them shine.

Hoarder? No. Future and current seller? Yes.

If you drive the car anywhere but the desert, they'll not be that way for long. :(

Actually, I polished the original threshold plates that came on my car several years ago and they still look great. (better than the paint anyway... ;-)
