new leather shifter and e-brake boot (gaiter) supplier in the UK

Featured Replies

Today while looking at e-bay at something (strange for me, I know...), and I noticed a set of leather shifter and ebrake boots from this company (Top Gaiters) from the UK.

Datsun 240Z 260z 280z Leather Shift Boot E Brake New | eBay

What caught my eye, was two things. Real Italian leather, 100% feedback, and CHEAP!!!! Even the shipping is cheap. $35 bucks for the pair and $9.99 shipping to my door in Western Canadia!

I'm not currently in the market for a set, have no idea if these guys are worthy of my praise, but compared to "common retail" (reads MSA..) they represent significant savings if you know what I mean (IYNWIM)

They have colors, and will do custom work too. There, that's me good deed for the day.

Here is what they have for Datsuns. My shift boot is looking a little ratty...

Philip, I'm such twit, I was so excited to see stuff made for our cars that I posted before I read your post.

Like kids in a candy store, I swear...

It is just our socialist formation showing fellow canuck brothers.

btw did you know this social networking thing is Canada's secret to take over the world? It is really called "Socialist Networks" and was started by the Reform party who conveniently "disappeared"....even Snowden is too afraid for his life to even mention it. It goes far deeper than the NSA's tools.

His secret to cheap shipping is most probably to send it in a flat bubble envolope. If he can keep it under 1-1/4" thick, he can send it as a letter or printed matter. That way he dodges the custom declaration procedures and can reduce the shipping costs. Once its thicker than 1-1/4" it goes up to about $20 to $25 in postage alone.

They look good, wonder how good they fit?

I'll let you know. I just bought a set.

I have bought and fitted them. good quality leather and excellent workmanship. They also fitted perfectly. They are cheaper than I could buy the leather alone. Got to be happy

Thanks to this thread I ordered the shifter and ebrake covers. Yes, they came in a fairly flat envelope and they look great. It is too cold to install them now, but I look forward to putting them in my car soon.
