So that step up is the faster lift? Does it wear down the rocker pads sooner?

It is hard on everything.

I saw a lot of cam profiles in tech articles and photos but that one is the wildest and is nearly a 90 degree angle. It is from a Japanese rebuilding site. I'm not sure if it was for road racing or drag racing... I'll guess drag.

Looks just like Eiji's custom pistons and rods.....wow.....don't think you'd be running pump gas with those chambers!
