Here is a link to a quick NYTimes video on the making of a Dodge Viper. I wish there was a video like this of a Classic Z.

Manufacturing a Viper - Video - The New York Times

Enjoy!

I love stuff like this.

It shows the people and the machines working seemlessly

Now where can I get one of those 5 lug wheel impact guns~

I guess the last 3 revs were the break in procedure. Stupid me but I thought the engine assembly took place somewhere cleaner then on the line with a guy and a rag cleaning off the cam. I guess they know these cars will never be high milers so they don't go to any lengths.

Interesting video, thanks for sharing.

Lets hope the build quality of the new Viper is much better than the other American high performance cars like the zl1 Corvette.

Chase

I found it creepy. It is like old Walmart shoppers are assembling it...no young people . I just looked at recent BMW and Toyota factory vids and it is completely different: uniforms, safety gear, etc.
