Gotcha. I run glass as well. My windshield is cracked, but the glass is clearer than my spare uncracked windshield, so I'll use the cracked one until it gets more pitted. They allow cracks as long as there isn't a structural weakness.

I ran with cracked glass for a long time, but last year they freaked out and demanded it be replaced. I asked them if uncracked aftermarket glass was as strong as OEM with a crack, and if aftermarket glass was the same gauge, weight and safety, and of course they had no clue.

Remember, it's not about safety... its about obedience.

I have a buddy in Indy that might have a windshield to sell you

I remember when I needed a windshield I went with safety lite glass or something and it was only 150$- that was a few years ago

Since no one else has mentioned it, Black Dragon has them in their catalog for $180 + $125 truck freight. Shouldn't take too long, they are in Kansas.

glass he sold was like brand new. he did a good job finding
