How many of us are planning to DRIVE our S30s to Phoenix this September?

Bumping

If I still had mine, I would. From here that would be about 12-1300 miles each way. That's do-able.

Driving mine from San Diego. One of my best buds has a place in Glendale AZ so I am set. He also has a major large garage that he just buils so I have a place to shine her up too. San Diego will host 2014.

I don't really want to respond to this thread with that Avatar showing. Could be bad Karma. :ermm: That car color hits a little too close to home.

I would love to........I'll have no excuse when it's in SD in 2014. That's only a couple hours away.

Depends on what you are driving... LOL

Took me three days to get to Phoenix from Vista {San Diego}... When I tried to drive the BRE Baja Z back to Florida. Gave up on the original idea of driving the car home - when I got to Phoenix, then Bob Bondurant helped me raise the coil overs high enough to get the car loaded on a transport.. Flew home from there and the car arrived three days later.

Road Trip anyone? LOL

That's what I'm thinking, Carl. Just gathering some ammo to get my bride to agree to the 1300 mile run. It'll be a butt breaker but should be fun, too.

It was just under 1,000 to Nashville, over a 1,000 to Savannah, more than 1,300 to Florida and it's 991 miles to the Tail of the Dragon (which I drive non-stop on the return leg). Done it in the 240 and with the Z on a trailer. Plan ahead, get the car prepped, bring spare parts, drive in a group and enjoy the ride....

I've been planning to make the trip but the company changed my schedule... Will be away until the Monday after ZCON ends... A TOTAL BUMMER!!
