Hardway Posted August 16, 2012 Share #230 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Made 4 new air cleaner intake gaskets yesterday evening, 2 out of black gasket paper and 2 out of cork. Cost me $7 for the full gasket material set and around 30mins of my time. I still have enough material to make 10 more gaskets. Beats spending $15/pr online. Sometimes its the little things in life that give you the greatest sense of accomplishment! Edited August 16, 2012 by Hardway
WDILL Posted August 17, 2012 Share #231 Posted August 17, 2012 Got the quarter windows in with help from the wife. Finished putting fuel lines (cleaned and clear coated) and new brake lines . My hat is off to all those that have replaced fuel and brake lines with all the other items in place under the car. It was hard enough with just the engine and taransmission in. Cleaned and installed the assembly for the brake warning light. Next is finishing the brake booster and brake and clutch master cylinders installation then differential, half shafts and drive shaft refurb and installation. MotoManMike Posted August 19, 2012 Share #233 Posted August 19, 2012 I spent the majority of my day running temporary jumper wires and testing. I got my L28ET to fire and IT'S ALIVE!! IT'S ALIVE!!!. Now I have to wire everythng perminetly, mount the ECU, run new fuel lines, replace injectors, wire up an electric fan etc etc etc but the important thing is IT"S ALIVE!!! I'm so happy you have no idea. I took my other S30 to the local cruise in yesterday and man were there alot of people checking out the old beat up S30, they loved the dual carb filters i put on, and one guy i know says man you really have got that interior buttoned up it looks good. Its been a great weekend for the S30 addiction.

Mikes Z car Posted September 2, 2012 Share #235 Posted September 2, 2012 Nice speedometer picture. Put the gas tank back in I took out in the spring to seal, no leaks. Thanks to all of you for making that easy with your posts. Drove the car today to get a fill up and the tank capacity totals to15.6 including the 10 gallons I put in at the house. Doesn't include the drive to the gas station though (7 miles). Undercoated the area the tank normally conceals, painted tank exterior and straps with Rust Bullet and black shell. That was a fun drive to the gas station. First real drive since last year.

240260280z Posted September 3, 2012 Share #237 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) P.E.I. is where Canada was founded. It is a very small agricultural and fishing province that is an island. Here are some photos I took. We visit every year just before my daughter heads back to school. Found a few Z's and watched a drag race. Beautiful roads, fields, ocean, and sky.... who needs Ireland when this is 3hrs from my driveway? Great food, ocean is 20C, sun and fresh veg/fruit/meat.
